We were discussing the point that only an invasion of NV would win the war. We did not for two reasons: (1) the American people would have voted the administration out of the WH and into a Congressional minority; (2) we were not certain what Mao's China would do.

The MAGA doctrine is for a free, strong, secure, prosperous America with liberal, choices, options and opportunity for all Americans.

So far the individual specific policies have been within that broader scope. Ideology, partisanship, dogma and doctrines are not part of any of it.

Making America Great is some vaporous fairy tale. I get it. I appreciate that you are admitting as much.

What would be great would be if we actually identified what that meant.

But so far, that has not drawn any takers.

Don't get me wrong. There is much to improve about America. I am not always sure it is something government can do. I think America would be great again if we, as a nation, put good values at the forefront (I would say "Christian" values, but that partitions off other people who have the same lofty values but who are not Christians). Until we value honesty, love for one another, a lack of anger, keeping marriage (and family) in-tact, there is little the government can do to help us.

One thing that would get us closer to greatness would be a balanced budget and no debt. Right now that is a FAIRY TAIL and I am not so certain Donald Trump is as committed to that as I think he should be. We'll see.

He has made America great with the incredible Supreme Court he put in place with his three nominations to the bench. God bless them and DJT for putting them there. At least the Constitution as defenders in one part of the government.

Once the MAGA vision is on track, then we can debate other issues.

Sorry to belabor the point, but with no clear-cut objectives, how do we know it is on track ?

Until we can wrest the country away from the grip of the deep state, discussing the 10th Amendment and Federalism are pointless

Totally disagree. MOST PEOPLE don't understand this concept (of Federalism) so the deep state means nothing to them. Once they understand what is available to them through the liberty created by the 10th amendment to have a greater say in their lives...........then they realize what obstructive force the Deep State is.

Her books have sold millions and been read by millions of people. I agree that she is a hard read but the message in her books is valid if you are smart enough to understand it-------------I guess that eliminates you.

I'm not sure if Trump ever went into detail about this slogan, but I don't care about how good the US is doing relative to the rest of the world, if that is what he means. I care about making this country better than it is now, for the generations that follow. And in as many ways as possible. One can argue about whether America was ever great in the 1st place, and that's fine but let's not get too concerned about our faults and past mistakes. Which were many throughout our history. But we oughta try to do better.
