Does Loving Your Country Mean That You Have to Love Trump?

Why not think of Trump for the great things he has done for this country.
1. He closed the border
2. He is removing illegal aliens
3. He cut taxes for citizens who get paid Social Security
4. He removed taxes on overtime
5. He removed taxes on waiter's tips
6. He discusses government very often and what it does
7. He wants the government to work correctly and defies the Democrats who stop it from working.

If I use his list, it is very long.

I get notices we will get cash due to his tariffs. Do you appreciate return cash?

True when you look at it like that. :)

Ask any of we Republicans if we support illegal aliens being in the USA and I will be shocked if you locate any of us. I am surprised you made that claim. For the record, we do not support illegal aliens being in the USA.

I was describing ANTI-TRUMPERS.

I wish that Democrats believed that.

I wish that everyone understood that. I've seen people called "anti-American" for opposing certain actions by the government...when those actions themselves were anti-American and unconstitutional.

I think that's the problem....more people need to be aware that there are thoroughly corrupt and subversive parts of our government, so it's not "patriotic" to support whatever the government does, that's just foolish imo.

Describe one of those. Do you believe Democrats are liberals or authoritarians? Hint: Democrats are the actual authors of a majority of our laws controlling us all.

I only meant that I wish that far right-wingers would remember that when it comes right down to it love or hate the president, if you love your country that's what counts.

Do you love your doctor? Do you love your car mechanic? Do you love your plumber?

The President does a job. You either approve of the job he does or you don't.

correct but it ALSO does not give trump worshippers the right to come on and say you have TDS syndrome like they have with the op just because she does not like some of trumps policys.
What is the main Trump policy you hate?

What if you agree with some things that he says and does and disagree with the others?

With that being said........

There are EXTREMELY RARE cases where we would accept it.

So well said. 🏆
Absolutely brilliant.
Simple but totally accurate.
I don't have to love my plumber when he fixes my toilet. I can respect his knowledge and admire his response time and be happy he fixed a problem. I don't have to follow him home and send him flowers and make his dinner.
Trump has a job to do.
I think he's doing it exceedingly well.
I don't agree with everything he does. And I sure as hell don't agree with everything he says. He's a loose cannon far too much for my liking. He's manic and irresponsible at times with his remarks and it does concern me. But he's also under a huge amount of stress in the most stressful job in the world.
And when I compare him to the likes of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Barack Obama, all of whom were weak failures in dealing with virtually everything, I'm glad we've got an Alpha Male in charge.

On this forum, I can't name a Republican that does not love our country and engages in hate of presidents. We can easily name dozens of democrats who hate Trump but fall in love with democrats making laws against us all.
1. Chuck Schumer
2. Here is a list of some.

Democrats are wrong when they claim we love Trump. I have said many times; he pisses me off. As you say he has a super stressful job. But his bragging, hell. His talking for an hour when 10 minutes would do. But Democrats loathe him. They really are not one-bit liberal.

They're too simple-minded to understand nuance.
They think that because we voted for him, we're somehow mind-numbed slaves to everything he says and does.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but the conservatives I know are much brighter than the Leftists I know. Their thinking processes are much less dogmatic and more critical.
But in today's climate, the Left is like rabid dogs, pulling at their chains, dying to bite someone and infect them too.
It's very disturbing.
America is in very deep trouble. And it ain't Trump that put us here.

That is what I see too.

I have a long-term problem if posters call Democrats liberals. They are not that at all. They want to force us to pay more taxes. The are angry Trump removed laws. They hate his guts. Does any of us think that sounds like being liberal? Also, your comments are excellent.
