A problem for us all is the media. Notice for instance that the supposedly trusted Politico slants stories to make the wrong done by Democrats seem to be understandable and not at all bad. For Republicans they paint the innocent like they are on the FBI most wanted list. Readers form beliefs based on the media. Few watch politicians for more than a few minutes if they are on TV, so we really do not know a lot about the inside story since the media treats us like growing mushrooms, in the dark, covered with dung.
