Obama warns against ‘a crude sort of nationalism’ taking root in the U.S.

If I recall correctly it's basic presidential etiquette to keep your nose out of the new administrations business.

However, less than a week after the election the meat puppet faggot can't resist talking shit.

Speaking at a joint news conference with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras by his side, Obama refrained from criticizing President-elect Donald Trump directly as he discussed the impact of his electoral victory last week. But the president made it clear that he sees a dark side to the kind of populist movements Trump's campaign embodied — ideals that other conservative leaders are advocating in Europe and elsewhere.

The meat puppet faggot said:
“We are going to have to guard against a rise in a crude sort of nationalism, or ethnic identity or tribalism that is built around an us and a them, and I will never apologize for saying that the future of humanity and the future of the world is going to be defined by what we have in common, as opposed to those things that separate us and ultimately lead us into conflict,”

I'll bet his dumbass in on TV once a week whining about something. Say what you want about Bush, but when obozo got elected Bush didn't say shit. For years and when he finally did it wasn't even very critical. Same for Reagan, and HW. I think Clinton even kept his mouth shut for a while.

Islam is the prime purveyor of the us/them attitude. Not that there has ever been any other reality.

The same asshole that spent 8 years telling us what is and isn't American can STFU now. He's being taught a brutal lesson in what we are and it's not a bunch of socialist fucking wall flowers.

Nationalism is always assumed to intersect with racism. That's lame.

Nationalism doesn't automatically manifest as jingoism either. You can be patriotic and free thinking at the same time.

The other side of the spectrum is globalism. That has to do with believing that efficient world governance is a higher priority than national sovereignty.

Obama: Spare us the lectures about so-called right-wing media. You are irrelevant now, a bizarre asterisk in American history. Your legacy: ISIS, the busted Obamacare boondoggle, and the doubling of our national debt. We the People have a lot of work to do to recover from your disastrous, failed presidency. We don't need your input. We've got this from here on out.

I'm not a fan of Obama as President, but there is simply no contest on class and tact when compared to Donald Trump. This is the man who mocks disabled people for political advantage, mocks gold star parents, and somehow you want to call an etiquette violation on Obama because he "refrained from criticizing President-elect Donald Trump directly as he discussed the impact of his electoral victory last week"?

Etiquette? If somebody spent years challenged my legitimacy as an American my attitude too would be he can kiss my ass.

Heck I'm not a nationalist nor a patriot...who cares. You got zero recourse. At 78 I fear nobody....especially flag waving freakazoids. I'm white and was born here. If that makes a a traitor, so be it.

Trump mocked neither. The disabled bullshit was blown out of the water awhile ago by catholics4Trump who were able to produce the whole video that the looney left said mocked the disabled reporter.

And he didn't mock the Khans. He defended himself against that little snot's accusations. His son was a hero to be certain but Mr. Khan threw his hat in the political ring. And he got a push back. A well deserved push back.

Just like Miss Universe became fair game for lying about how she was treated by Trump.
