Trump and Vance actively supporting Viktor Orban as President of Hungary should concern us all

You thought Biden was a despot? How do you define a despot.
Biden's cognitive decline resulted deminished leadership capacity.
That is not a despot. Just the opposite.
MAGA minions trying to provide an alternative truth. A LIE.
Biden was a punk despot leader. He decided thatvp immigration laws were his to ignore. He decided that $ billions of dollars of student debt was to be dumped onto taxpayers despite USSC rulings to the contrary.

Leftist minions trying to excuse the actions of their despot heroes.

Some do, some don't. Let's assume no one does. Why in the hell is Vance going to Hungary, on tax payer dollars, to try and motivate voters to vote for the authoritarian. It is what he did, no th results.
Presidents have throughout history tried to influence other countries’ elections.

Trump and Vance actively supporting Viktor Orban as President of Hungary should concern us all.
His politics are closer to the Russia government than the USA government.

1. Reshaping Hungary’s political system

Rewrote the constitution (2011) and passed many new laws that strengthened executive power.
Reduced checks and balances by weakening courts and filling key positions with loyalists.
Critics say this has led to a system sometimes described as “illiberal democracy.”

2. Control over media and institutiIntroduced media laws and enabled allies to acquire major outlets, resulting in a largely pro-government media landscape.

  • Increased government influence over universities and research institutions, including forcing some foreign institutions to leave or restructure.

Election system changes

Redrew electoral districts and modified election rules in ways critics say favor his party (Fidesz).
Built long-term structural advantages that make it harder for opposition parties to win.

Anti-immigration policies

One of his most defining positions:
Built border fences during the 2015 migrant crisis
Enforced strict asylum rules
  • Framed immigration as a threat to national identity and security.

Economic policies (“Orbanomics”)

Used unconventional taxes (e.g., on banks and foreign companies)
Increased state involvement in key sectors.
Critics argue he created crony capitalism, benefiting business allies.

Foreign policy moves

Maintains close ties with Russia and has often resisted EU pressure (e.g., on sanctions or Ukraine support).
At times has taken positions that complicate relations with the EU and NATO.
Recent reporting highlights mixed or contradictory diplomatic behavior (e.g., outreach to different geopolitical actors).

Use of state power and emergency measures

Brussels isn't backing down in the face of Viktor Orbán and his Fidesz party in the upcoming Hungarian parliamentary elections on April 12th, and is reportedly preparing to mobilize protests. Eurocrats, who appear increasingly detached from the ground, could be brought back to reality by a swift recognition of the election results by the United States.

The EU leadership has long sought a short, decisive war against Orbán. As a result, Brussels bureaucrats have turned the Hungarian election into a personal battle. The current Hungarian prime minister and his supporters have faced an unprecedented level of interference, including relentless attacks in the media, digital censorship, and blatant demonization. Adding to this are Budapest’s ongoing economic and financial stranglehold and the alleged dirty tricks of Europeans funneling money to the Hungarian opposition via Ukrainian channels. All of this speaks volumes about the EU's raw frustration at the prospect of Orbán's victory

The perceived injustice was so great that U.S. President Donald Trump dispatched Vice President J.D. Vance to Budapest with a public message for the bureaucrats in Brussels. Vance accused them of having "done everything that they can to hold down the people of Hungary because they don't like the leader.” Vance accurately and objectively assessed their actions as "truly disgraceful." However, it's like spitting into the wind -- they'll likely dismiss any criticism regardless.

Many have overlooked the fact that key figures behind the anti-Trump movement in Europe, including European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, German CDU leader Friedrich Merz, French president Emmanuel Macron, Finnish president Alexander Stubb, and Polish prime minister Donald Tusk, have distanced themselves from the U.S. and American interests for some time now. They have openly met with and expressed support for Trump's domestic opponents, including California governor Gavin Newsom. Now, they aim to deliver a direct blow to the U.S. President by removing his closest ally in Europe. This behavior is what one would expect from adversaries, not partners.

While VP Vance (supposedly a devout Catholic) was in Hungary stumping in support of the Orban autocracy, Pope Leo condemned the Iran War and canceled a planned visit to the United States after the Pentagon lectured Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the Vatican’s envoy to the United States.

Oh my, you must be an agent for Putin and Orban. What you posted could have come directly from Putin and Russia. Where do people like you come from.

Presidents have throughout history tried to influence other countries’ elections.
There’s no widely recognized example of a sitting U.S. president or vice president:
Going abroad
Appearing at campaign-style events
Explicitly urging voters to re-elect a specific foreign candidate

But what is most concerning is what Vance was supporting. An authoritarian leader that has been working on giving the powers of a dictator to the President

i think you know elmer....you just dont want to say it...
I don't know. There is definitely o politician I look at as the answer to all of my and the world problem like MAGA does with Trump.

If anyone has a huge influence on me, are my grand kids.

That leader was already elected by Hungarians. He's up for re-election. Fact is, many presidents have tried to influence other countries's elections. If he wins, it is only because he already won and got re-elected. But, maybe you can quote me some kind of law that what Trump and Vance are doing is illegal. You guys always want to ***** about things you don't like but aren't actually illegal, like you're upset that someone else thought of an idea that you never thought of.

No on both counts. The one world EU types want Orban out because he is tough on immigration and he is not in the Soros family hip pocket among other things.

The Cult idiots who have been nuzzling Mullah schlong for years is whining about who some foreigner might support?

CLASSIC!

who are my new buds.
There s absolutely no way in hell I would like any politician the way MAGA worships Trump. He can do no wrong.
It is whacky to feel that way about any human

Very true. The similarities between the two would be much more obvious if Trump were not so flamboyant, unstable and juvenile.
What’s happening in WV redistricting? Haaaaaaaaaahaha you all bite bullshit.
