Republicans openly hostile to farmers

Legal work permits. OMG! Crimes of the century. Let's be honest, it's about hating on immigrants. These people are trying to WORK. Farmers are trying to "produce" while your people are drugged out bums and drunkards on the streets some in tents and encampments.

quotes:
“We’ve seen Republicans openly hostile to farmers, which is extremely unusual,” said Rick Naerebout, the association’s chief executive. “This will be a potential tipping point for Idaho: Do we continue to shift further to the right, or do we moderate some? It feels very much like that’s what’s at stake for us, especially in agriculture.”

The Zuiderveld case, which the senator wrote about in a Substack post that included the email her husband received from his employer, isn’t the first time immigration and agriculture politics have turned personal in the Idaho GOP. Last year, federal officers raided the farm of a moderate Republican state representative, Stephanie Mickelsen, after a far-right activist reported her businesses to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement tip line. One worker with a criminal record was taken into custody, according to InvestigateWest.
Who said it was a crime to have a legal work permit? Yes, they are trying to work, nobody has a problem with that. What are you whining about?

Are they allowed to be here on work visas and commit crimes? If not, what's the issue?

Republicans openly hostile to farmers

Your thread title is a lie. Are you bothered by your LIE? Do you feel shame or remorse? Do you feel guilty for telling such an intentional whopper lie? Is this your first lie or just your latest?

If only real life were as special as dolts like you try and portray it.

People like you cheat on taxes, violate parking and driving rules. You're criminals of some kind
Nobody said life was simple....1) no i don't cheat on my taxes 2) sure, i've had parking tickets before, and sure i've gone above the speed limit...not sure your point....what does any of that have to do with this topic? I don't feel like i'm being harassed by the Govt when i have to pay my parking ticket, I simply do.

A GOP lawmaker supported an immigration crackdown. Her husband paid a price.

The situation cost Idaho state Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld and her husband most of their income and highlights an escalating split in the party.

Republicans openly hostile to farmers? Yep, that's what some Dairy Farmers and others in an article are saying.

We live in a free country, and we can actually do business with whoever we want to,” said Arie Roeloffs, owner of Riverbend Dairy, which in April became the fourth to cut ties with Zuiderveld, who is his wife’s campaign treasurer. “What his wife is doing in the state legislature are things that I don’t agree with. And he stands behind her.”

This is maga turning the GOP into going against almost everything it once stood for. Like Trump and his children (and others) have said. It's not longer the GOP, it's The Trump Party

This video explains why Donald Trump Jr. believes the Republican Party has transformed:

Despite this rhetoric, they continue to urge supporters to vote for Republican candidates, particularly to advance the America First agenda, as noted during 2025 Turning Point USA events.

Okay,

One thing I have always said, “Republicans hate farmers”.
