So the *administration says they are "hitting the pause button" on project freedom because it's been such a monumental success that Pakistan (again) has asked them to "give peace a chance".

Pakistan has done this before and it turned out to be at the request of the US to give the tRump *administration a chance to save face while backing down.

This is the same thing. You don't pause a mission to "rescue" 23,000 stranded sailors because it's "working". You do that when it fails. The logistical cost to move two, yes just two US flagged vessels through the strait was roughly a billion dollars. That's utterly unsustainable.

Not that keeping 14000+ troop and 150 aircraft in a holding pattern is much cheaper, mind you, but at least no one is shooting at those expensive assets during it.

Then there's the truth gap. They say no US ships were struck. How true do you think that will turn out to be?

They also said no US bases were hit. That turned out to be a $200 billion dollar lie.

Iran told us the bases were badly damaged. They were telling us the truth.

Iran claims to have landed two missiles on an Aegis guided missile destroyer as well as damaging other vessels.

Who's telling the truth this time?

remember it's not Iran backing down.

Who is wining the war?

Bibi won't allow Trump to leave. He's using the pause to turn Southern Lebanon into Gaza.
