But God had promised blessing to Israel. And Balak was trying to get Balaam to have God change His mind and curse Israel. But God, through Balaam, would not. Because He was not like man in that He would lie. His blessing would remain with Israel. And so it has and always will. This does not prove that Jesus Christ, Who is God in the flesh, should not be worshipped. For Jesus Christ is God.
