Surprised? When I was ten years old, I was going to Sunday school and could recite all of the books of the Bible in order. From there, I actually went to school for God, studied the entire theological field, but I also know science and understand the immutable reasons why we know certain things like the age of rocks, bones, stars and such.
No, the Scripture is the work of man supposedly taken from the word of god. Much of it is historical such as people and places, times and events, but the first part taken from the Torah about 3500 years ago is subject to interpretation as mythological at best, written to give the Bible a foundation, a beginning, within the ken of the very limited understanding of the people of the time.
It is not a matter of either/or. Science is science so unavoidably right, but scripture is immutable, up to the point where it conflicts with known, proven and verified science.
Oh gee...save your life stories for another. You can lie about them as you do everything else. In other words, you don't know shit, but you profess you do.
Oh....but the Scripture says it is the Word of God. So, you don't believe the Scripture but you want to use the Scripture. In other words you are full of shit.
So. Scripture says differently then your 'science'. But you believe your science instead of Scripture. Which is fine, because we know of whom you are of.
