Methodological Anarchism is distinct from Radical Anarchism in that it doesn't believe in the complete abolition of the state and government, and merely de-centers the state and government from whichever ideological it most aligns with while adhering to the true meaning of anarchy: the absence of rulers. The most noteworthy example of an anarchist institution would be anything having to do with enforcing the rule of law. Might makes right after all.
I'm going to go ahead and say "no," communism is not compatible with ANY form of anarchism because it relies upon the existence of a Communist Elite within the Communist Party of ____, such as the CCP or PCC. This is almost a unanimous outcome of communist/socialist projects, I'm sure there have been some attempts throughout history to establish some form of Anarcho-Communist State, but I can't think of a single instance of this being successful.
