Zone1 Were there human beings before Adam and Eve?

In (Gen. 3:1-5) there was a creature who talked. The serpent.
In Hebrew the word for serpent, Nachash, is both a noun and an adjective meaning snake, brazen, shiny one, and/or someone who practices divination, the magical arts, sorcery, what is now well known as brainwashing, hypnotism, or mind control, the feared and revered stars of the ancient world, forever condemned by God as the lowest of all human life forms, "lower than cattle and all the wild beasts of the field" in Genesis 3:14.

The earliest proof of hypnotism was found in Egypt dated to around 2345 BCE

So, what is your point? All you have proved is what I have said. The serpent was a literal serpent indwelt and used by Satan, and then cursed by God.

That's not what I said. The serpent was literally a despicable human archetype that stands condemned by God.

Maybe thats why you have been so easily diverted by superstitious archaic lore.

Nothing you have said proves the serpent in (Gen. 3) was another human being. That is just your assumption based upon your unbelief of the Scripture.

In other words, it must be a human being because you don't believe what the Scripture says.

Well, I haven't been so easily diverted by your silly lore...have I?

Yes it is. No creature on earth other than a human being talks. The story was written to educate Hebrew children about the dangers of losing your mind for life to a cunning cult leader. The pharaoh wore a serpent on his head.

Behold a talking serpent!

In (Gen. 3) the Serpent talks. And he wasn't a human being.

Big deal. The pharaoh wore a serpent on his head. That doesn't mean the Serpent in (Gen. 3) wasn't a real serpent that talked.

lol.. No other creature on earth talks. You need proof of this?

That is just your assumption based upon your unbelief of the Scripture.
no. It is a matter of fact based on my acceptance of reality and my belief that scripture conveys truth.

What I said is the only way that what was written could possibly be the truth.

I have proof. (Gen. 3:1-5).

No, it's a matter of your unbelief of what Scripture says.

Sorry, what you say is totally opposite of what Scripture says. I believe the Scripture...not you.

Silly? I don't think so. You have confused faith in the ridiculous with obstinate stupidity.

I do...think your lore is silly. It is unbelief of God and Scripture.

If I am stupid for believing Scripture, so be it.

So you think that literary devices used to teach Jewish children for thousands of years is silly? Nice try.

From where I am standing your belief that an actual serpent spoke is beyond ridiculous. But you have faith.

Congratulations!

And some people don't believe in curses.

Imagine that!

You are not stupid for believing scripture.

You are stupid for talking the stories literally. You might as well try to convince me that the story of the three pigs is a historical document about a magical time in the past when pigs could talk and build houses and that I am a fool for not praying to and worshipping the wise pig or not having "the faith" to take the story literally. Damn.

Another instance of a beast speaking. God has the power to do this.

Numbers 22:30
30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

Talking donkeys are all over these threads.

Can I get a hee haw?

Any literary device that teaches contrary to the Scriptures is silly, and worse...it is unbelief in the Scriptures and the God who Authored them.

I do have faith. I already knew that.

Thanks.

Well, I never said you had to believe the Bible. I said I do believe the Bible. You can believe whatever you like.

Well, I believe the Scriptures. No problem.

But I'm not trying to convince you about the three pigs. Nor am I saying you should pray to them. Nor am I saying you should believe the Scriptures. I am telling you I believe the Scriptures. So, try to keep up.

There was NO Adam, there was NO Eve.

the fact would be there became several couples as a&e whose offspring's sealed the deal with theirs for the prosperity of humanity in the wilds for their unimpeded development as a new society.

- unfortunately many took on the characteristics of the diabolical - desert dwellers.
