This is sad....but as I've heard, health care workers are starting to run out of empathy.

Hospitals are running out of health care workers.

They are burned out.

The last 18 months has caused a lot of death and burn out within the health care workers.

I don't blame them for losing their empathy. Why have empathy for people who are proud they don't wear masks, don't social distance and don't get vaccinated?

It's sad that those irresponsible people are suffering and dying but they caused it by refusing to wear a mask, refusing to social distance and refusing to vaccinate.

My only exception are the children who are suffering and dying. They can't be vaccinated. Those children weren't able to make their own choices.

The situation in Mississippi is getting very, very bad. I don't see it getting better since most in that state aren't vaccinated, don't wear masks and don't social distance. They keep going to large gatherings in doors.

They are putting their hospitals in jeopardy of failing. Which I won't be surprised when they do start failing in a week or so.

I won't be surprised if Texas and Florida follow in their footsteps. Their hospitals are near the brink of failure too.

I hope they're wrong about a lot of deaths.

The person you replied to didn't read the article. If it had read the article it would know that the ship that was in NY last year is going to be sent down to Mississippi.

Biden has been doing all he can. He's made free vaccines available to everyone.

He's been sending ventilators and even a hospital ship. He didn't force any state to fight to get what they need like trump did last year to blue states. No state had to have supplies flown in guarded.

Biden is doing all he can do.

When we have people who refuse to wear masks, refuse to social distance and refuse to get vaccinated, there isn't much a person can do.

Republicans want to be able to live life like there is no virus that can kill them and overwhelm our hospitals. That's just not reality. The reality is those who actually continue to do nothing to protect themselves will get sick. Some will end up fighting for their lives and some will die. All of them are causing hospitals to be on the brink of failure.

This shouldn't be happening. This is all very preventable now but republicans refuse to do the right thing.
