I disagree. Socialism tends to be more democratic. Communism tends to be more authoritarian. As it was in communist Russia and still is in communist China. Watch the Michael Moore documentary "Where to invade next." He visits various countries in Europe that are WAY more socialist than the U.S. He also speaks to many if the citizens. They are dismayed as to how the U.S. stacks up against them.

Hitler took a ruined German economy and turned it into the greatest economy in the world. But good luck trying to look up anything that doesn't spout propaganda written by the victors. So, if Hitler wasn't a socialist, what was he having done that. Also, you have to take into consideration what Hitler had to deal with. Mainly, communist insurgency. You can't protect yourself from a powerful Russian communist dictatorship with a prettily worded Constitution or anything of the sort. What you say is complete nonsense. For example, government is run from the bottom down. Because those who get elected are corrupt from the get go. In my view, those who are corrupt are at the bottom of morality and humanity in general. Next, as I said elsewhere, the bottom 50% of Americans have around 4 trillion in wealth. The top 50% have around 156 trillion in wealth. That wouldn't be the case if "when your boss gets wealthy that's good for you." As for why people from other nations come here, socialism has nothing to do with it. Overpopulation has everything to do with it. Also, as I also said elsewhere, those countries that are socialist wouldn't have become socialist to begin with if capitalism was working out for them.

We are almost 40 trillion in debt.... where do you think the money to pay for a socialist society will come from?... California granted illegal aliens free medicaid... and California may have to file for bankruptcy because of it...

Not communism, but socialism. There is a difference. For instance, Hitler and the National Socialists were against the communists. (And for VERY good reasons) Under Hitler and the National Socialists, the German economy went from ruined to the greatest economy in the world! Also, the only to defeat the Chinese communists is with a socialist system. But the capitalists cringe at the thought. Why? Because there is no way a for profit company could compete with a government run company. For one reason, profit would be taken out of the equation. Also, we could make anything the Chinese make for less than they can. Because our country is rich in natural resources. As long as the government can provide the necessities that are needed to live, such as housing, food and clothing, things can be made for a very cheap price. Though he was an asshole, Muammar Gaddafi took a socialist approach when it came to housing. He required by law that every citizen had a place to live. He also made it illegal to own more than one house. Another point is that here in the U.S., the working poor on average spend around 55% of their income on rent. To that add the cost of food, clothing, utilities, insurance, etc., that doesn't leave people with much else. Also each year around 500,000 families go bankrupt due to medical expenses. It's all a pile of shit that only socialism can lift us out of. You should also consider what these two people had to say.

But they didn't take his kind there. So he had to drive to another hospital. It killed him. Also, there used to be a popular musician out there named Jewel. She had to go to the hospital once because she was in a bad way. Basically, she was sent out to the parking lot to die. But a doctor happened to walk by and took pity on her. I can only hope that you are in a position to get your wish for death by such capitalist means.

Oh, I wrote it all right. And I held those kinds of views for decades. As I said elsewhere, there is nothing like being homeless to clarify your thinking. This is what it was like for me for a while. Digging a hole to take a shit in. And sleeping in a pup tent. There's an interesting point on that. When it is cooler outside, your body gives off moisture that condenses on the inside of the tent. When it is raining outside, the raindrops hit the tent and causes the condensation on the inside to fly off in tiny little droplets. Enough to be really annoying. My condolences on your loss. I lost my father two plus decades ago and even having good health care and a supposedly “loving God” on his side didn’t save his ass.

Life isn’t fair. It was never intended to be. I am well aware of that in my own life; screwed over by God, fate, or whatever power you want to credit with all the bad in the world From my moment of conception. I’ve learned to accept it, at least as much as I can.

You’ll probably get your wish granted. If something doesn’t kill me before my employer finally kicks me out in another 25 years, the fact that I won’t take a penny of government healthcare probably will.
