Opposition to the CRA was across ideological lines, not partisan ones.
Why is this so hard for people to grasp? The parties are polarized today, but weren't in 1964.
Conservatives voted against the CRA, and there were Conservatives in both parties, get it? There aren't Conservatives in both parties today, just one.
This has nothing to do with which party voted for it, it has to do with which ideology voted for it. Yeesh. Sometimes I feel like people are deliberately stupid because their minds are so shallow.
