Social Democracy

He wont say Marxism he invents new terms like Democratic socialism, why not Free market Marxism, Socialist democratic Capitalism, or Big government in your face controlling every aspect of you life socialism
Nope...

Said Social Democracy since the start....

You don't like it, because it involves a political ideology ye just don't understand...

In a political sense, ye are acting like Neanderthals ....

So one asks why would a person defend failure? Total failure. Its because he is a failure
Except I posted that they are not failures...

All these countries are fiscally more responsible than US...

I have listed all the things they have done for their people...

I have just shown that they don't see GDP growth and bull stock market as the be all and end all...

Denial may indicate some form of emotional disturbance. Emotions determine what you think you know. A chart on google isnt always reality.

You missed the point.

Your life is a fake graph. Reality is very different. Try a vacation in Cuba. Se what socialism is really like
Again, who proposed Cuba type system here?

Wasn't me... I know the differences between the systems...

You are the one calling Norway Baptism when it is a Social Democracy...

Then you don't the difference between a Social Democracy and what Cuba has...

This is why you are called Political Neanderthals... You can only seem to see Capitalism and Socialism and nothing else...
I suppose it comes from having only 2 parties, other countries have many parties and understand the differences between them all...
Also in Western Europe they understand politics is a balance, too much of anything will not work, it is about getting the mix right..

It is tenable but you have to media on all sides reporting from both sides... I am sorry to say that I see the biggest offender coming from the right when comparing to the highly fact based sources who back everything with evidence..

This is why I was saying that a Constitution that can be changed by the people (i.e. simple 50%-50% referendum vote) allows the Constitution to be 'Living'...
So you don't believe in constitutionally limiting government at all? Just majority rule on everything?
... there would be no, 'What did the Founders intend?', 'It would be 'What do you want now?'..
Which is where you completely misunderstand the concept. The Constitution is supposed to be really hard to change. It functions as our grant of sovereignty, our contract with the nation on how much power we want government to have over each of us. Without those limits the majority can vote to do anything (eg. subjugate the minority). I didn't sign up for that, and I won't concede to it. The Constitution protects the minority from being trampled by the majority.
Don't worry, if we get it wrong, we can have another vote later to amend that too..
Have you ever held a minority opinion??

I don't really look at the meme c/n/p kind of stuff.

You dont know the difference between reality and term you invented. You value feelings over facts and will invent facts to support your feelings. In perspective you simply dont matter.

Has more credibility than from the guy who calls Norway Capitalist and not a social Democracy..

Norway is a capitalist country with a highly developed free-market economy, but it operates as a "social democracy" that blends competitive capitalism with a robust, state-funded social welfare system. This framework is often referred to as the Nordic Model. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key features of this system include:
  • Private Ownership: The majority of businesses and means of production are privately owned. [1]

That is why there is a referendum.
If a majority of the country want Divorce, should the country have Divorce?

Ireland had a referendum for Gay Marraige... The People voted and it was allowed in the constitution.. Should they ignore the wishes of the people because some dead people didn't like or may not understand it?

A national referendum is hard...
Have you ever held a minority opinion??

Yep... Lost and accepted the will of the people, it was there to be won... Somedays you sell a good case, some days you don't...

Why should the people be held back by a minority?
This is a problem for the US because they are increasingly being governed by laws set down by people who have no understanding of the world we live in today. The founding fathers intended the US Considtution to be modernised periodically. Even James Madison wouldn't have agreed to no change like is going on now.
US is 56 years since their last amendment was passed... They is a very bad reflection against the wishes of all the founding fathers views...

Yep... that is called Social Democracy...

Have you got it yet?

Social Democracy has Capitalism built in, but it also has Socialism(or Public owned and run element)...

This is why we call it a mixed economy...

It is just Norway economy is a a bit more towards high social net, better services, more regulation... But I will say Norway's regulation makes more sense in certain situations.. US is so long under the corporate lobby system (Dark money), the system thinks of the citizen as an after thought...
In fairness Trump saw this and ran on this... He then did a 180 when he went into office, especially this time... The real power brokers in Washington aren't the politicians, it is the money, the lobbyists and the dark money dictates all... It is so bad they have invented ways to legalise the covering of their tracks...
In reality, companies don't have to show who they are giving moment too and Politicians don't have to say where it is coming from... Add in a massively pro Corporate media (both left and right) and you get this perfect storm...
Just as an example, there are no prescription drug tv adverts in Europe. None... Europeans are pretty horrified by this... A TV ad is going to tell a patient what the should tell the doctor prescribe... Are you ******* serious....

That is why there is a referendum.
If a majority of the country want Divorce, should the country have Divorce?
If the majority of the country wants to bring back slavery, should the country have slavery?
Ireland had a referendum for Gay Marraige... The People voted and it was allowed in the constitution.. Should they ignore the wishes of the people because some dead people didn't like or may not understand it?
Yes. Absolutely. That's the whole point of Constitutional government. To set sane limits on what the majority is allowed to impose on everyone else.
Why should the people be held back by a minority?
Because we value individual rights more than majority rule.
This is a problem for the US because they are increasingly being governed by laws set down by people who have no understanding of the world we live in today.
The left has cooked up this concept of "minority rule", but it's false. When the majority doesn't get it's way, that's not minority rule. The minority can't come up with new laws and pass them. But they do have some protection from the unfettered majority.

Do you really think majority rule should be completely unlimited?
