We Need Socialism.

Whatever the alternative to fascism is, there's no doubt that the idea of choosing something else is becoming very popular.

This meshes nicely with the fact that the Trump regime is bringing fear to Americans who are having second thoughts about the Democratic opposition being crushed and discarded.

Extreme rightwing is anarchy. No government.
Sure kid, that's why Antifa is anarchists.

Instead of arguing about labels, how about acknowledging historical events that contributed to the rise of Nazism after WW1? Hitler blamed Jews and Communists for the political chaos that erupted in Germany after the shameful Treaty of Versailles. He sought to unify what was left of Germany into a classless society of agricultural and industrial workers by providing social benefits that were unheard of in the rest of Europe. The worldwide Depression of the 1930s hit Germany harder than most other European countries, and he instituted huge public works programs to combat unemployment. He also supported private economic growth by government backing of corporate debts.

Hitler's foreign policy objectives were to restore former German territories and to remove the threat (as he saw it) from Jews and Communists in Europe. This required the elimination of Poland as a buffer state between Germany and its mortal enemy, Soviet Russia. His original plan was to relocate these people in order to make more room for Germans in Eastern Europe. This plan took a much darker turn when he failed to defeat Britain or Russia in 1940 and a different "final solution" was implemented.

As a result of these events, the Nazi regime became more and more authoritarian. Interestingly, however, Germany was the last of the major WW2 combatants to impose a full war economy on its citizens (1943). This suggests that this regime was not always as totalitarian as some people believe.

It didn't go full war production because they were worried about a revolt.

We Need Socialism

.....like we need more Leftist imbeciles and trans gender military commanders

Nobody is a bigger imbecile than Trump. And transgender? They make up only a very very small percentage of our population. Which hardly makes it an issue. But yet you bring it up. Only an imbecile would do so.

Not communism, but socialism. There is a difference. For instance, Hitler and the National Socialists were against the communists. (And for VERY good reasons) Under Hitler and the National Socialists, the German economy went from ruined to the greatest economy in the world! Also, the only to defeat the Chinese communists is with a socialist system. But the capitalists cringe at the thought. Why? Because there is no way a for profit company could compete with a government run company. For one reason, profit would be taken out of the equation. Also, we could make anything the Chinese make for less than they can. Because our country is rich in natural resources. As long as the government can provide the necessities that are needed to live, such as housing, food and clothing, things can be made for a very cheap price. But here is a cartoon from 1897 that shows the problem when it comes to, for example, housing. (How things haven't changed)

Though he was an asshole, Muammar Gaddafi took a socialist approach when it came to housing. He required by law that every citizen had a place to live. He also made it illegal to own more than one house. Another point is that here in the U.S., the working poor on average spend around 55% of their income on rent. To that add the cost of food, clothing, utilities, insurance, etc., that doesn't leave people with much else. Also each year around 500,000 families go bankrupt due to medical expenses. It's all a pile of shit that only socialism can lift us out of. You should also consider what these two people had to say.

Not really sure if you actually understand what socialism is, or Communism for that matter.

Socialism always fails.

In some place it may have. But it hasn't in other countries. I suggest you watch the Michael Moore documentary, "Capitalism: A Love Story." Another good one is "Where to invade next." Also, look at the country all the right wing capitalist scumbags like to bring up. Venezuela. But that country isn't the U.S. Another point is that do you know why such countries even go socialist to begin with? Because capitalism wasn't working out for them.

Nothing. But I think we should find out just to be sure.
So you want to take everything of value from everyone?... why?... if there is no one to fund government programs they dry up... its happening in California as we speak... the state... counties and cities are all broke... public service workers are losing their jobs...
Popular programs for children and drug addicts... and adoptee's are being ended not just cut...
Fire and police departments are not hiring when they need good people the most...
CA is a socialist playground... now sit back and watch what happens....
Tax cuts make investment happen... investment creates jobs... jobs create tax payers... tax payers create these programs for the people you seem to want to help...

Tax cuts make investment happen... investment creates jobs... jobs create tax payers... tax payers create these programs for Americans who need help for one reason or the other...
With socialism.... which is only a stopping point for eventual communism.... you get massive poverty and filth...
Remember when socialism stops working then you get forced socialism which is called communism....

Hitler was not a socialist.

Well his party was the National Socialists. So what else could he have been. But despite what you think he might have been, whatever he did worked. And what did he do to make the German economy the greatest in the world? Probably the same thing FDR wanted to do. To find out what that is, go to the beginning of this thread and watch the video I posted of him speaking.

And I suppose you think the DPRK is really Democratic?

Come on man, use your head. Hitler used the people in the party as convenient dupes and disposed of them as soon as he could. He despised socialists. Murdered many of them in fact. He kept the name as it sounded nicely innocuous.,

Hitler was not a socialist.

Look it up.

socialism is supposed to have the workers owning the workplace, collectively. If you dont have that, then its not socialism. When workers own the workplace, it makes labor unions redundant and obsolete.

Nazis pretended to be socialist in the 1920's in order to gain popularity, but after they gained power in the 1930's they threw out the strassers and put the socialists in concentration camps. The german economy during the nazis was certainly capitalist.

If you want to know how socialism works, watch the Michael Moore documentaries "Capitalism: A Love Story" and "Where to invade next." As for anything having anything to do at all with Hitler, you wouldn't know the truth if it bit you in the ass. Which unfortunately is the way you probably prefer it to be. As for the German economy, it wasn't long before Hitler came to power that Germans literally needed a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread with. And unemployment was also very high. Hitler fixed all that. He did it by sidestepping the basically worthless Reichsmark and creating a fiat currency that was funded by what they called MEFO Bills. It was probably part socialist and part capitalist. Like most of the European countries are today.
