And since it appears that "socialism" is whatever government spending exceeds military, I guess those would qualify as "socialist".

The original USSR was NOT a Communist nor a Socialist Country and never will be. Venzuela is NOT a Socialist Country, it's a Dictatorship. Cuba is NOT a socialist country, it's a Dictatorship. The proper name for some of the most successful countries in the world is Democratic Social Government. And the ONLY difference between a Democratic Social Government and a Federal Republic (what the US once was) is how much control over National Corporate Businesses they exibit. The Federal Republic regulates more and the Democratic Social Government controls more. But both controls things that affect the majority of the populace. The US has gone from a Democratic Social Government to a near Fascist Government and all parts in between. Unlike the other nations, the Constitution of the United States leaves that option and the US grows strong from it.

Communists-ism is easily identified.
Socilialists-ism is immediately divided with social democracy or socialistic policy or socialist dictatorship that I call communism due to fake voting rights .At least Fidel somewhat admitted it but added a twist with communism with a socialistic monetary policy. It's like sucking a dick once in a while. yet not being a faggritt.

The closest to actual social "democracy"---(mob rule) leaves me thinking of Scandinavian countries and Costa Rica and Chile in America.New Zealand is in there too. Australia ? Not even. Australia is full of control freaks in office.
