Zone1 Was Eve expelled from Eden, or did she leave with Adam?

That's not exactly what the text says.
No verse actually mentions Adam eating fruit.

The Serpent, Adam and Eve were already separate,
and named separately in each of the verses regarding the outcome.

The question is: if Eve is not banished like others - did she leave willingly with Adam?
You quibble over the dumbest things. Calling it an "apple" or "fruit" is a literary convenience.

Yes, calling it an "apple" is essentially a literary and artistic convenience, but "fruit" is the literal translation used in the original text. [1]
  • Fruit: The original Hebrew Bible uses the word peri, a generic term for any fleshy, seed-bearing produce. Calling it a fruit is accurate to the text, even though ancient commentators debated whether it was actually a fig, pomegranate, or grape. [1, 2]
  • Apple: The apple is purely a creation of medieval art and translation. In the 4th century, St. Jerome translated the Bible into Latin, using the word malum. Malum was a broad term for fruit, but it also happened to be a Latin pun for the word malus, which means "evil". This play on words was irresistible to medieval artists and theologians, and was later cemented into the English-speaking world by John Milton in his epic poem Paradise Lost. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

You get off spewing hate towards Christians. Your posts drip with hate.
Nonsense. I pity them. They are like sheep with wolves for shepherds. If I have said anything amiss, then prove me in the wrong. Since you can't you accuse me of "getting off" on hatred (pathetic) but what you are feeling is your own conscience condemning you. Thats a fact.

Understanding literary style and context is important when trying to discover the intent of the author.
If your dogma contradict the literal text,

it's irrelevant no matter how much you dance.

you mean the car jugglers? If you mean Adam and Eve, why would you tell me that?
Successful behaviors naturally lead to success just as failed behaviors naturally lead to failure. These concepts are the basis for establishing standards which exist for logical reasons.

Where did I use the word apple?

Stop spamming random AI nonsense.

Rationalize it however you like. I pity people that aren't secure enough in their beliefs that they have to attack the beliefs of others to justify theirs.

Says the guy who created a trojan horse thread.

Again.. the point of this account isn't about blaming anyone. It's about accountability.

So offended by reading the Bible?

Poor inquisition troll.

Thats looks like pure projection to me. I am not attacking anyone. I am showing where right and wrong and judgment lie freeing the prisoners in hells keeping, except for maybe you.

When you posted the tag line "life is unfair, expect to make sacrifices." I bet you never dreamed that you would be the sacrifice.

You, a he goat "without blemish", have been carefully chosen and prepared as a sacrificial offering for the expiation of sin. Your slaughter has been dedicated to the Lord, my God. The fat trimmed from the flesh and thrown on the fire is a soothing and fragrant offering to the Lord. The flesh stripped from your broken bones will feed a hungry multitude.

To people living 5000 years ago hypnotism would have been indistinguishable from magic.

Well, I've studied hypnotism. I was taught self-hypnosis when I was in 8th grade. There is nothing magic about it, it is just a form of brain-control in oneself, much like meditation, or in others as a power of suggestion, but it cannot be forced on anyone not willing to be suggestible.

But I'm lost what this has to do with Eve in the GoE, and what the point is in even speculating it, as the only real argument here lies in whether this was intended as a LITERAL STORY of actual people and events, or whether the story is just metaphorical, and no one on the planet truly knows which one for sure.

ITMT, everything we've learned about life and nature on Earth tells us that mankind did not just pop in out of thin air, and whatever else, the Earth is anything but special and central in the universe--- other than the fact that Earth is the only water world filled with life we know of, but we have already discovered several other exoplanets with water which exist in the Goldilocks zone, and with atmospheres and pressures conducive to life.

In fact, one of the moons of Jupiter (Europa) may indeed have a liquid water interior and possibly hold some form of aquatic life. We will probably know for certain in another 30-50 years when we send a probe to drill down through the top ice and find out for certain.

Not at all. I'm happy to let people interpret it any way they want no matter how ignorant and irrational it may be. God gave you free will. Who am I to question it. You are God's problem to fix. Not mine.

Divine Wind now that ^^^ is an example of name calling and insults.

You are doing a great job of doing that all on your own by nitpicking the use of the word fruit.

Perhaps you should advise God on how to rewrite Genesis...

You have over 10,000 posts that says otherwise.

Does it mean you've decided to let off your little preaching career?
