I believe that I head that one district is partially in one area and the rest is nearly a four hour drive away.

I lived in CA when Democrats went wild doing this same tactic. My representative at the time was Mr. Pombo, from Tracy, Ca. His district encompassed part of San Joaquin County. I was then in Alameda County, so when the Democrats did the dirty trick, suddenly his district vanished and we were now in the same county as he had been. Swallow is one of the results.

Somehow it's fitting that Virginia, the birthplace of our nation in so many ways 250 years ago, will be the state that kicks off the second American civil war.
