The problem with the USSR was that it was a colonial Empire, with 140 million Russians ruling over 160 million non-Russians. When the Non-Russians could leave, they did.

China is another matter. While they have 56 Ethnicities, the largest are the Han Chinese, who make up 91% of the population.

In fact, one out of five human beings on Earth is a Han Chinese.

Birthright citizenship is one of the major contributors for this country’s demise. The law wasn’t meant for tourism birth or sneaking across the border to pop out a baby and viola, US citizen.

Even in 2015 there where just about 310,000 Chinese students in the USA. - thanks to TACO down to 266,000 in 2025.
The total of 704,000 Chinese oversea students in 2019 went back to around 570,000 in 2025.

China is the future and therefore Chinese students practice future tools - which is online studies. Whatever else the government wants to know - they simply hack into others computers and networks or get foreign high-tec companies to invest in China.
