Looks like they are buying tons of shit with food stamps and sending it to bodega's in the Dominican Republic for resale.

It looks like the tip of another fraud iceberg.

Trump has got to get on top of this and start sending people to prison

In most cases, despite the Federal funding, these programs are administered at a state level. That means prosecutions are on the state level in states where - more often than not -- the state is complicit in a facilitates the theft.

State officials aren't eager to lock up their co-workers when they know they're just as guilty.

Here's the things about politicians ... as soon as they start telling people the truth, they are quickly out of office.

They cannot publicly be seen opposing any sort of assistance program else be labeled fascist, racist, or something worse.

Which is why, despite the fact that I agree on many of his initiatives, he is ultimately a radar blip. He'll be out of office in two years and whomever replaces him will not be able to take the "too rich to care" approach to national governance.

The harsh reality is ... we will be back to square one in 4 to 20 months.

At some point it has to collapse. We can't go on printing funny money

The USA has so much money if some goes missing.......blah, write off as a loss

If a hood rat makes $100 scamming the system, the official that facilitates it and protects it from audit makes $1,000.

The only way to stop the fraud is stop the program.

no way they can or would stop EBT, that is a long standing social program for poor people

that also ties into WIC as well

what they need is better protective measurements so it can't be misused but that takes money and a workforce
to enforce those who apply actually need it and won't abuse it

Agree 100% -- in our system that would be political suicide

Unfortunately, just as impossible. As long as there are programs to take from one and give to another, there will be someone in the middle taking their cut.

I do not know why democrats don't want to kill off this kind of fraud... it only takes from the legitimately needy... The very people they claim to want to provide for....
