Vaccine inequity and hesitancy has made the Omicron variant more likely, scientists say - CNN

Hoarding vaccines and anti-Vaxxers helped create Omicron. Others will follow....

First, there was no way the entire planet was going to get vaccinated equally. Second, I've read an opinion that it is the vaccinated who spread it among each other that forced the virus to change.

There probably isn't any one particular answer, which is why the source of the virus was so key to our understanding and future prevention. Instead, we allow the same people who have been wrong for 30 years walk the same path and talk the same rhetoric. Health experts pick and choose what data to accept and what to ignore.

Its a depressing truth. The US is less culpable than the UK and the EU, Apparently, only 10% of African countries have been vaxed to an acceptable level.

Actually, you are full of shit. The Trump vaccine is less than a year old and has only been available to all here in America for 6 months.

If you were making this remark years from now after enough time to get it out to all the remote places, you might have a point.

But consider this. The day of Pentecost was in AD 30, yet to this very day, the whole world hasn't been reached for Almighty God. And the gospel is a vaccination against hell fire, a lot worse fate than corona.

I have read that they believe that the new strain mutated off someone with HIV/AIDS because the shear number and particular characteristics of some of the new features being seen in this particular version. What I have not seen is any real world evidence that it is making people sicker than those with the other strains. There is some modeled data that suggests that this thing could be spreading magnitudes faster than the original version but that again isn't real world evidence.

Mutated strains of other viruses have always trended toward being less harmful than that which came before.

What we're witnessing here is a "fourth wave" of panic porn.

Just wait until you see the next variant I'm cooking up in my garage. Hopefully It'll be released by January.

I call it the "Home Brew Flu." It makes your dick shrivel up and your brain turn to mush. Fortunately leftist moonbats don't have dicks or brains, so they'll be ok.

And that is how little I'm concerned about Omicron. They should have named it "Ohmygard!"

Health experts pick and choose? You do. And your opinion means shit compared to theirs.

Actually, you got a good point. Its a lot more contagious so it should make it through the population pretty quickly.
And because it is harmless, we get the old, beloved flu back.
