There was an incredible amount of evidence that the Biden family had been engaged in widespread influence peddling that spanned multiple years and yet no real FBI investigation was ever done on their activities. That didn't happen by fluke...it happened because the Merrick Garland DOJ operated with a two tiered system of justice. Sorry, but they were. Do you remember Garland and Wray being forced to testify in front of Congressional hearings. Do you remember how they refused to answer questions regarding the Biden family? Do you remember how the Garland/Wray DOJ raided Mar A Lago with an FBI Swat Team flown down from Washington because Trump had classified documents? Do you remember the FBI Swat Team raid on Joe Biden's residences because he had classified documents? You can't because it never happened. The FBI allowed Joe Biden's lawyers to conduct a search and turn over to them anything that was classified. How do you explain that?

If there is an economic boom as you predict, I will marginally participate in the benefit. If Trump economic policy is a bust, I probably will not participate more than marginally (if at all) in the losses, just as I historically continued to profit in the past, including the Biden administration. With new tariffs planned, it is hard to envision any ease of inflation, but, whatever.

I look forward to better control of the border and illegal immigration, just as I have written here before, though I have not been personally affected by it in the past, simply disapproving the Biden open borders policy, as I have repeatedly stated here.

As a Ukraine and Israel supporter, (not an Iran or Putin supporter) I hope there is policy in place, not giving away our position in world leadership supporting international laws and treaties, and I am sure you feel the same.

As for Newsom, my views on him have not changed from what I have stated here during the last few years, having never spoken in support of him in the past. I cannot see what would make me support him in the future in your battle of the oligarchs, that actually own the two American political parties of our system.

I watch with interest as you celebrate winning the previous political cycle, though fruits or result, unintended consequences and outcomes, certainly not assure, except by those that count their chickens before they hatch or come home to roost.

Nobody that has a son or daughter is surprised Joe pardoned Hunter. One would have to be bone head stupid, not to think it would happen if he lost the election, and definitely knew as soon as he was out of the race, only a matter of time, yet now we have the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. Good grief. Three felony tax cheating criminal charges and some misdemeanors, he pled guilty to, months after paying original owed plus IRS fines. I'm all torn up...NOT. Then there was the 3 felony gun charges, for lying to buy a handgun, not admitting he was a drug addict (either at the time or previously, I'm not sure). Serious, in my book, though I doubt in his case, he was ever a danger to the public. It would have been nice to see a few days, at least, as a message, but having your dad be the president, means a pardon was inevitable.

This is nothing compared to the long list of much more serious, even violent, involving drug manufacturing, sales, and using weapons in committing criminal acts, pardoned by the previous president. Except for your political loss and not being able to get the president's son, you would not even care, as you did not care about the far more serious offenses pardoned by your own boy.

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) said that if President-elect Donald Trump had his Department of Justice go after political enemies, it would be “banana republic stuff.”

When asked about January 6 committee members potentially being prosecuted, Goldman said, “Donald Trump’s entire purpose with his selection for the FBI is to do just that and to jail his political enemies, that’s banana republic stuff. It’s not just bad for the political enemies and for a political system, is undermines our entire rule of law. It undermines the credibility of every single prosecution that’s out there, and you see that because defendants all around the country are making these allegations that their prosecutions are political. He’s already undermined the institutions and he will go much further if Kash Patel is confirmed.”
Co-host Jonathan Lemire said, “So, congressman, quick follow-up. You speak of political enemies of Donald Trump. You served as lead counsel in the first impeachment trial of Trump when he was in office the last time. Would you be considered a political enemy? I've agreed to watch to show if it comes on and is not too boring. That is all a citizen is obligated to, similar to a jury, but not required to give up the time out of my life, to actually sit and hear all the evidence that did not warrant a referral during the Republican Committee investigation. If you can get charges, let the jury hear it, and we can get the court reports, or its just bullsh#t speculation on the internet.
