The potential death if nothing was done was estimated to be 2.2 million. But that was never going to happen because our country is lead by intelligent crooks who want to protect the herd they milk every day.

where the original estimate for social distancing was that only 50% of Americans would comply (they based that on lawless Italian behavior) IT turns out to be about 98%.

The models now reflect that higher Social distancing factor and the death estimates have dropped enormously because Trump is not an idiot and Americans are not lawless buffoons.
