Another poster who doesnt understamd the military.I don't know enough about your country to know if this is true, but if it is, then it's really fucked up. Anybody should be free to disagree with the government's official positions. If people can't, then it means the country is a dictatorship. As for active duty officers....I am not too sure about the legality of it, I guess that they can probably be disciplined in some way, probably on the grounds of compromising the national security or something or other. It's still not right though. People should have the freedom of conscience. People should be able to disagree with anything and everything their government does, regardless of whether they are directly employed by said government.
