Tribalism at its finest. Were Platner a Republican, all of these people whining about Auchincloss rightfully criticizing him would have absolutely no problem condemning his tattoo and throwing every Nazi / Hitler reference they could at him, but because he's a Democrat suddenly he's beyond reproach.
