Tragically, this particular professor is not alone in his field of academics. Emotions, groupthink, political power playing, personal bias, kickback$, god complex, just basic narcissism in general often taints the minds of those employed within the academic field. One is smart to research in depth the reputation of any PUBLIC university as well as it's staff including its currently employed professors. Private universities such as Gonzaga university & Whitworth university do not have the political biasing problem quite to the extent that the public universities suffer from.
