The list pretty well summarizes the qualities that displayed his lack of leadership. But then that lack of leadership is one skill that can be skipped when you get to the top through inheritance.

The only thing I notice missing from the list is his being a one trick pony when it comes to negotiating skills. It most resembled a child pouting that if he didn't get his way he'll take his ball and go home.

Kennedy had his, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Trump operates on the basis, "if I can't get what I want from you, screw you" and surrounds himself with 'yes men'.

• never concede that there may be some good in your enemy

• never accept blame
• concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong
