And true, it is worth more in the US economy than it would be in the rest of the world...who are experiencing greater inflation than the US.
So, it is all relative. If you like being an American (4.6% inflation) versus a Russian (16% inflation), or a Turk (62% inflation), or Mexican (4.32%)...well, mein freund, go where your dollar serves you best.
