Trump Is Lying About Project 2025

When did I do that? You’re the one with a double standard.

Huh? You called me a loser. Then I called you a coward.
So I was right and you proved yourself wrong several times. It's just that simple.

Enjoy your evening.

Apparently you lost the argument because you started using personal attacks.

I mean, that’s your rule when you can apply it others. Probably not a rule you’d every apply to yourself.

You're one unhinged MOFO, that's for sure

We didn’t invent Project 2025. Trump’s close allies did.

The staffing issue alone is a problem. The civil service is protected to avoid politicization of federal departments.
That's not working, clearly.
Moreover, he wants to have more direct control over departments like the DoJ for the purposes of weaponizing them against his enemies, which is only really possible if you get rid of all the career employees and install political hacks loyal to you.
You mean re-weaponizing, don't you?

The DOJ - and several other agencies - are about as weaponized against Trump and conservatives as it could possibly be. Trump would not have time in only four years to build up the weaponized force that the federal government became under Obama that continued through the first Trump term.

Sure, I'd love to see completely apolitical federal agencies. But when you have one side taking concrete action to politicize them, and the other just constantly repeating that they should not be politicized, they will be what? Politicized.

Trump has a lot of housecleaning to do at the federal agencies. Since he will be the first president to do that, he will select the replacements for the cleaned out partisan hacks. I'd rather some genuinely neutral panel or committee pick them, but that won't happen.

Too bad.

Your side should have thought of that when they killed the Golden Goose by letting the agencies be too obvious in their political activism.
Because Trump is incompetent and says shit without having the ability to do it.

The plan is an instruction set.
That is pretty weak.

You actually think Trump will go to the office and say, "What was I gonna do again? Bring me my copy of Project 2025, so I can make sure I'm on track, here."

Once in office, Trump will Trump.

They're not. Trump is being prosecuted because he doesn't give a shit about laws and sees himself as above them. The DoJ isn't weaponized, they're doing their jobs without favor for political party.

Trump has and will be taking concrete action to politicize the DoJ. The Dems are the ones that have been consistently saying they shouldn't be politicized.

You are so biased, you see neutral civil servants as partisans. Trump values loyalty and will select loyalists. You know it and I know it. That's why you said "but that won't happen". We already have examples of this from his last administration. This will make things far worse. Not better.
Your side should have thought of that when they killed the Golden Goose by letting the agencies be too obvious in their political activism.
That's just pretext to infect the government with partisan hacks and bend the institutions to corrupt purposes.

No, he'll go to office and say that he wants this done but will have no idea how to do it and his workers will ignore him. Unless they have a roadmap.
Once in office, Trump will Trump.
Incompetent and a weak leader?

Even if he only sticks to overlapping goals, it’s bad enough.

Trump always had authoritarian instincts. What he lacked was competency.

The plan provides him a lever to pull to achieve those goals.
Your lack of a relevant example is glaring.

I’ve already explained the issue with civil service employees. He wants to gut career people and install cronies to politicize everything, especially the DoJ.

I repeatedly pointed out your double standards. You mostly edited out any reference to it, because you were incapable of addressing the point.

It's much, much worse for you heathens.

Drop the “personal attacks mean I’m winning” bit. It’s never been true, especially when one has to constantly deal with morons. Sometimes those personal attacks are quite justified. Trying to figure out “who started it” is childish.

You lost the bet, give it a break....................."loser".

Another conspiracy theory the Dems/ Socialists feed on . Bloated government could use some culling.

Well, now you're just repeating what I said, but switching the people.

Ok, well it's clear by now to everyone that Trump will be the next president - unless Democrats learn to shoot straight, which is unlikely. So, we'll see if Trump manages to turn the DOJ from relentlessly hounding him and indicting him in multiple jurisdictions, leading up to the election, to criminalizing Trump's own political opponents.

Personally, I doubt it. He talks big about that, but he loves America more than he hates his persecutors. Why give the Biden crime family sympathy by putting them in the slammer where they so richly deserve to be?

But if he does, remember this when the first indictment comes out:

YOUR SIDE STARTED THIS!

And you cheered when they did . . .

You lost the bet, give it a break....................."loser".
I edited nothing. You’re getting desperate. Just like the Dems/ Soccialists are prone to do.

President Joe Biden reportedly told donors on a phone call on Monday that it was “time to put” former President Donald Trump “in the bullseye.”

Well, now you're just repeating what I said, but switching the people.
Because you have it backwards. Your mind is warped by right wing media.

Trump says he will use the DoJ to go after his political opponents. In fact, he said that in 2016. Didn't stop you guys from supporting him at all.
Personally, I doubt it. He talks big about that, but he loves America more than he hates his persecutors. Why give the Biden crime family sympathy by putting them in the slammer where they so richly deserve to be?
He talks big about everything but is quite incompetent and ignorant about how government actually works. However, I wouldn't rely on that being true forever. He could always learn from his failures and be more successful in the future. We don't need to take the risk to find out.
But if he does, remember this when the first indictment comes out:

YOUR SIDE STARTED THIS!
Nonsense.

Trump crossed the line and is getting what he deserves. If he didn't want the DoJ to come after him, he should have respected laws more.
