I realise as former stars grow old, perhaps one foot in the grave even; they need to reclaim that old shine. They used to be big stars, well known, celebrated by millions who would watch them on the screen or in concert. Now they are just old has-beens who most of a young generation hardly know.

So, eventually they just do weird things to get attention, to look rebellious or different.

Madonna is another. The women take the fall the worst really, especially such a big star who was always trying to be edgy.

Perhaps for Ford he just wants to celebrate and be the type of guy he rejected when he was a star.
