I worked in business and real estate law. Nobody gets involved in 3000 “frivolous” law suits. These were mostly sub trades.

Trump’s law suits were with sub trades were a famous scam he ran He stifffed them constantly on their final draws -15% of the contract, held back to completion by law. He then drew out the lawsuits on technicalities and appealed every loss, dragging out proceedings until the poor broke subtrades settled for pennies on the dollar. Many subtrades were forced out of business.

Trump picked good small subtrades offering them the chance to play with the big boys. Trumps work would gobble up all of their time and resources so they couldn’t take on other work to keep solvent. They were dependent on Trump keeping his word. It never ended well for the little guys.
