Interesting topic that I find more religious than political.

I found his church's website and took in more of his sermon. It is 51 minutes in length, I skipped around and caught about half of it. He's quite a fire and brimstone pastor. I suspect he would find this short extraction of his sermon posted as topic here as no better than the mixing of our historical country documents and the bible.

You'd be surprised how many churches have become politically-active over the last couple years. The one my wife goes to was founded after a disaffiliation vote failed at her old UMC church. Over half the congregation got up, walked away, and started the one she currently goes to. They wanted nothing to do with gay pastors, same-sex marriages, or illegal immigration.
