Zone1 The unconditional covenant God made with the Jews (AKA Israelites/Hebrews including converts, excluding Arabs)

God has been dealing with them since He became friends with Abraham. They drive Him nuts. And His punishment isn't a time-out in the corner. Slavery for 70 years wouldn't be my first choice of chastisement. On the other hand, there are times when the Jews brought about their own punishment and God allowed it.
It is stunning to know that before this is all over, 1/3 of the Jews will die, and of the remnant that remains, 1/3 of them will die also. But God will salvage members from all the tribes to carry on at His discretion, as He promised.
Every bit of it in God's hands, and He has even told us the particulars of the end time events. Every bit of it is by His will.

I wouldn't presume to tell God what I think He should do with the Jews or their enemies. My role in the mess is clearly defined. Pray for peace in Israel. And if I do, then, I can look forward to this:
I will bless them that bless you and curse those who curse you.
They are cursing themselves.

They are cursing themselves.
They do that often. Remember what they were up to while Moses was on the mountain with God? Remember what they said when they were offered Jesus or Barabbas to be set free? They cursed their own children! Then there was that issue with God's Son. And as always, God deals with their behavior. And has never needed to ask a Gentile our opinion on the matters.
God's forgiveness trumps their sinning, just like it trumps ours. His mercy and grace endures. If it didn't, we'd all be in trouble, not just the Jews. We can't disallow the Jews to experience the same favor that we embrace...

They may have missed the first hour of their visitation, but they surely aren't going to miss the next one.

Psalms 121:4-5 He will never slumber nor sleep; he is the Guardian-God for his people, Israel. YAHWEH himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.

He's got this, Ding...

Are you called to stand for good?

Yes. Is Israel good or bad? Is Hamas good or bad? By who's standard? Ours? Here's God's take on Israel's enemies:

Genesis 16:12 And he will be like a wild ass among men; with his hand against every man, and every man's hand against him, and he shall dwell on the borders of all his brethren.

Ezekiel 38 3&5: Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; And say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

^
He lays out the bad.
This isn't the righteous vs the unrighteous. This is literal war. And God even tells us His military strategy. Giant hail and friendly fire to drive them out.

So, according to God, here are the bad guys. I have to trust His judgment:

I don't trust your judgement to decide God's judgement. Just like I don't trust my judgment to decide God's judgment. It seems the best course of action is to always seek the highest standard of conduct. Of which neither has done. I don't think I would trust arguing the other guy was worse as my defense.

Do the right thing and trust God to do the rest.

dingus, what peoples' children are taught to play a game called "Stab The Jew" when they're young? :rolleyes-41:
One of my good friends in H.S. was a conservative Jewish kid. In their culture, they oppose American enlightenment principles nearly as much as Palestinians oppose them. And they too teach their children to be hateful bigots.

It wasn't till years later that I understood this is why he never wanted to hang out with us when our Indian friend, and our Vietnamese friend were involved. Mostly because his father would not approve.

Neither side embraces this;

Thus, it should not be American policy to support either side.

^Gazans/Hamas was an Iranian terror proxy.
So yes, the U.S. should choose sides.

Of course the U.S. should choose sides.

The problem is that the antisemites have so positioned the Jew country as “the evil regime” that they are now forced to side with Islamic terrorists.

The problem with anti-Christian bigots is they play the victim card when they aren't actually being victims.
