In the Bible, God seems to favor using weak and/or damaged people

God chose David who was the least of all his brothers in size and stature to slay the giant Goliath and later become king of Israel.

1 Samuel 16:7

“But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'” – 1 Samuel 16:7

God chose Moses who stuttered horribly and was said to be the meekest man who ever lived to go to the Pharoah of Egypt to demand he release the Hebrew people. He begged God to chose someone else but lost that battle.

Exodus 4:10“Please, Lord,” Moses replied, “I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to Your servant, for I am slow of speech and tongue.”

God chose Rahab, a prostitute from the city of Jericho to join the Hebrew nation where her blood line ran to Jesus himself in Matthew 1:5. God used her also to spy out the city of Jericho where she helped the Hebrew nation conquer it.

God chose Gideon to deliver God's people from the Philistines. When God chose him, his response was, "“But Lord, how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family” (Judges 6:15). Like Moses, he begged God to choose someone else.

In fact, God chose the Hebrew people who were the lowest of the low in all the earth.

Deuteronomy 7 "Israel, you are the chosen people of the LORD your God. There are many nations on this earth, but he chose only Israel to be his very own. You were the weakest of all nations,"

And today, God calls those same weak people today, people who are disenfranchised from the political elite, people who are disenfranchised from the wealth of the world and power in the world, to continue to do his work on earth.

I think God does this to demonstrate his power as well as because the meekest and weakest of people don't have ego's that impede him working through them.

That is all.

Have a great day everyone.

God chose Manasseh to save Israel again, in WW2.

Wow!!!!!!!!

I am now going to listen to all of that again!

Wow!!!!!

Prophet Kim Clement predicted that Mr. Donald J. Trump would be given two terms as POTUS but he also predicted that "Bill Gates would open financial gates for the church." Bill Gates, in many ways, is about as popular with many of us Christians as the Apostle Paul was while he was still "compelling Messianic Jews to blaspheme."

1Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You are permitted to speak for yourself.”
So Paul stretched out his hand and answered for himself: 2“I think myself happy, King Agrippa, because today I shall answer for myself before you concerning all the things of which I am accused by the Jews, 3especially because you are expert in all customs and questions which have to do with the Jews. Therefore I beg you to hear me patiently.
4“My manner of life from my youth, which was spent from the beginning among my own nation at Jerusalem, all the Jews know. 5They knew me from the first, if they were willing to testify, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 6And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers. 7To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews. 8Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?
9“Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. 11And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.

It is unlikely that Saul - Paul would be able to convince Messianic Jews to blaspheme by merely tickling their toes with feathers, [so obviously Saul - Paul's tactics got more serious than that].
