Zone1 The Ten Commandments don't apply to us.

From another perspective: The Ten Commandments are our gift to receive, not something that is imposed.

Analogy: Education is our gift to receive. Throughout our education we are going to make errors, come up with wrong answers, and along the way forget what was taught or the purpose of what was taught. However, unless we drop out, by the teachers in our midst, we are assured of graduation.

God is in our midst, not to condemn, but to extend a hand and both forgive and save us all the times we stumble and fall short.

No one is ashamed that along the way, they need a teacher; nor should we be ashamed--only grateful--that along the way we can use a savior.

The commandments are not imposed upon anyone.......The eternal God of the Universe gave the commandments as a foundational example of what constitutes SIN. These eternal commandments exist and are in effect just as much today as they existed under the Old Law, with the exception of Sabbath/Rest, as pointed out by the Apostle Paul. "....let no man judge you......." in relation to keeping any Sabbath. (Col. 2:16)

Spiritual Sabbath rest comes today only via Salvation through Christ Jesus; Jesus has all authority under Heaven and Earth. (Matt. 28:18) after the RACE of LIFE is complete is when you receive your SABBATH/REST. -- 1 Cor. 9:24-27

God rested from His legal contractual obligation as a husband to Israel that was presented under the Law of Moses.......no more legal obligations were possible because the Jews were continually breaking the existing Covenant Laws (...i.e, the 10 commandments and the rest given to them by God exclusively to Israel, -- Lev. 27:34, ). Adding to the covenant of Moses would be useless because of man's failure to keep the existing laws. God was finished/rested from the Covenant of Moses and would make a new covenant, a spiritual covenant (Jer. 31:31-34) UNLIKE the law of Moses.

We have been delivered from the legalities of the laws written on stone into a spiritual accounting of SIN, where Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins (Romans 7:6). But still, are we to willingly break God's external laws of righteousness with the expectation that Jesus will always pay the price for our premeditated Sins? Simply because the Laws are no longer in effect that were written on stone does not give everyone an eternal free pass for breaking the laws that should RESIDE WITHIN us in a spiritual nature. You can still fall from grace by committing the unforgivable sin (the sin that remains unrepentant). -- Hebrews 3:12

Not even Christ can forgive a Sin that always exists within someones heart.....that remains because such is not considered Sin by the one whose heart the sin resides.

Jesus Christ Himself stated it best. "And why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, AND DO NOT THE THINGS WHICH I SAY?' -- Luke 46:49........you must not only hear the Words of Christ, you must strive to DO THEM. These words as inspired by the Christ to the Apostles include ALL THE 10 COMMANDMENTS EXCEPT SABBATH/REST.....as presented by book, chapter and verse.

Sin is defined as the breaking of God's Law. ( 1 John 3:4-9)

As far as the non-believers? Anyone that can look into the night sky at the beauty and awesomeness that exists simply within the Stars themselves.......and not SEE GOD. There is no convincing them with any existing words of men.

What you are calling lies are in reality embellishments used to teach those lessons.

glad you've seen the lite of day ...

or again, provide the etched tablets claimed heavenly by moses employed for the purpose to deceive ... you now claim as innocent embellishments - used by the religions to persecute and victimize the innocent. terrorist organizations.

the truth is always better than deception ... save those in torment for their crime and yourself - remove the false commandments from all three desert bibles

I've been saying the same thing for years. And it's not what you are saying.

Those "Two Commandments" are the Ten Commandments Covenant "Boiled down in to It's finest essence. Look hard at them, & If You truly seek The Truth about the matter, then it shouldn't take more than a minute for you to see "The Light".:

Many uphold. that The Bible, & The Study of it, as well as the Ten Commandments being posted in America's Classrooms, ..... Should not be allowed, & that The Founding Fathers never intended for it to be. ------- That's a Wagon load of "Political/Cultural Bullshit"!

America Absolutely was a Nation explicitly founded upon Biblical Beliefs & Values.

And yet,.... During My Lifetime,......Beginning in small increments, & then turning in to a flood, America has turned it's back upon those "Beliefs & Values".

The Shocking part is that now, even Our so called Conservative, "Lord proclaiming" Political, & Religious Leaders, have assisted in bringing this corruption about.
I will not disagree, most of the founding fathers were believers and predominantly of Christian Faiths, but they were correct, in not letting religious beliefs be a government controlled thing, as there are simply too many different beliefs, belief systems, and individuals ascribing to them, or ascribing to none at all. The place for religious training is the churches, synagogues and other places of religious worship, not the public schools, though I doubt there are many students that never said a prayer in school, either before a hard test, or facing a teacher, principal, or coach with a 3/4" paddle in his hand. Bringing back the paddle would do more for the training of children in schools, than posting religious writings on the walls.

The ark was sealed with pitch (bitumen?) inside and out, so it was watertight. Floating in still water would put no strain on the structure. It likely had little 'freeboard' sitting very low in the water so waves wouldn't be an issue either.
Wooden ships used pitch all the time to seal the wood together. The problem with the SS Wyoming is that it was too big, the wood moved too much and the pitch couldn't stop the water leaking in. Which is why the SS Wyoming had pumps to stop the ship sinking.

There's no way the Ark was watertight.

You think 40 days and nights of storms was "still water"?

"It likely had"..... see, you're making things up.

why did they risk their lives to move to the new world rather than to stay in europe - religious persecution their primary motivation ... still a major factor when the constitution was written and how little religion was allowed on the document.

for religious freedom - not servitude and denial.

no different than the 1st century events, jesus mary joseph mary m, heavenly exemplars - they did not fear moses abraham or judaism than to make religion hospitable to all than to just stone throwing jews.

Again with comparing False doctrine with the actual content of the Holy Bible? There is no text in the N.T. that calls for the persecution of anyone. Provide the book, chapter and verse that calls for the persecution of anyone or sword point conversion. The Commandments define Sin they do not enforce any choice. These commandments still exist in the N.T.

They are not imposed upon anyone...........You choose for yourself Heaven or Hell, God simply provided the path.
The Laws are written on the heart, no longer on stone (Jer. 31:31-34)

Choose your GATE carefully. -- Matthew 7:13-14 Those who willfully sin are without excuse. "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sin." -- Heb. 10:26

The Wyoming was a merchant ship, built to carry large loads of cargo and to navigate against ocean winds and currents. It was not at all similar to the ark.

The rain fell for 40 days, which wasn't the flood. The flood came in from the sea, a gigantic slow-moving tide that lifted the ark up and carried it gently away.

false doctrine, the moses 10 commandments - is the actual content of all three desert religions ... and used throughout recorded history to persecute and victimize the innocent.

during that time 1700's the written u s constitution including freedom of religion is - the freedom from desert religion persecution - is exactly its true meaning.

Doesn't matter. The length of a ship makes a difference. And the dimensions of the Ark are similar to a ship, 440 feet by 72 feet by 43 feet.

If it's long, it will have problems.

And you're still making stuff up. "and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky." It was a storm.

Length doesn't matter if there are no large waves.

Doesn't matter how long or hard the rain fell. The ark didn't move until the flood lifted it up. Widespread rain would quell any winds, so, no waves.

Not solely or simply for religious freedom.
The first settlers moved to America primarily for economic opportunities, religious freedom, and political liberty. Many sought a better life, escaping persecution or seeking land for farming and other ventures.
