Support for the Ten Commandments as laws for living is obviously limiting, and their new god routinely ignores, and seems to be successfully doing as he please, so they do as they please, also and support him doing as he please.

They were Commandments issued by God for the benefit of the Israelites.

God really doesn't change even if society has over the millenia.

The 4th and 5th commandments are of some importance.

The 4th deals with the Sabbath....which is all about the end of the Covenant....dealing with who Jesus is. His name/Identity is wrapped up in this commandment.

5th commandment?
This requires some knowledge.....
There is no Hebrew word for grandmother or grandfather. Only mother and father....
It's got absolutely nothing to do with birth parents as so many like to believe it does and has been sold as.
It's about Abraham and Sarah.....God's Friend and his wife. Kind and generous Abraham. IOW act like a Child belonging to those two regardless of how piss poor your parents are/were. IOW your identity name is all important here. Be sure to have the correct one.

And since Jesus fulfilled the 4th Commandment.....
