In a Republic, actually
“Building this country up sits squarely within the skill set of Joseph Biden. We have found Mr. Biden to be a caring, compassionate and professional public servant. He has repeatedly expressed his desire to be a president for all of America, and we take him at his word. Joe Biden may not be the president we want, but in 2020 he is the president we desperately need. He will be a president to bring people together and right the ship of state.”

Conservatives continue to abandon Trump.

So you post something from left-wing socialist unions, and then write "conservatives...." Huh? Those are not conservatives. Unions are socialists generally speaking.

No one reads dead newspapers. It, like virtually all newsapers, has been hollowed out.

In a message printed in the paper in early 2009, publisher Joseph McQuaid announced that owing to financial difficulties affecting the entire newspaper industry, the Saturday edition of the paper would no longer be distributed outside of the Greater Manchester area and that Saturday content would be moved to a combined Friday/Saturday edition.

In 2015, the paper's flagship building at 100 William Loeb Drive was subdivided into parcels and offered for lease. In 2017, the Union Leader building was sold to investor Peter Levine for $3.8 million after being on the market for about four years. The newspaper leased back space to remain in the building at 100 William Loeb Drive. Three other tenants, two of them charter schools and a distributor, also were occupying space in the building at the time of the sale.

Has The Right Skill Set for the next 4 years!

Biden wrong for the upcoming challenges. The Old Fool wants to increase the corporate tax rate. An economic study concluded that corporate tax hikes lead to a substantial decrease in wages and spending, and spurred businesses to move out of the country.

That’s not what we need, especially as a report by Yelp found that 60% of businesses around the U.S. that shut down due to the coronavirus will remain closed forever.

Biden has big plans for spending, some $5.4 trillion for universal pre-K, free community college, clean energy and other programs. Supposedly, "the wealthy" will foot the bill, thanks to eliminating the Republican tax cuts and making the rich “pay their fair share.”

But a look at data released by the Congressional Budget Office analyzing 2017 household income shows that the top 20% of households already pay 87.1% of federal income taxes and 69.2 % of all federal taxes; and the top 1% of households pay an average income tax rate of 24.4% while the middle 20% of households pays an average income tax rate of 3.3%. So as we have learned before, "The Wealthy" can be any homeowner over the poverty line when they impute rental income for being able to live in your own house.

Biden’s platform is a potluck of agendas pushed by far-left party members such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Sanders and Biden hashed out a Progressive Unity Platform this summer, and AOC joined other progressive lawmakers in telling Biden who he shouldn’t have in his Cabinet.

Trump won't raise your taxes, he’s against defunding police, for holding China accountable for COVID-19 negligence and putting America first on trade, defense, the courts and, again, the economy.

He’s what America needs right now, decisive action to get us back to pre-pandemic strength — not an unfeasible spending spree in the name of a progressive utopia.

The Boston Herald endorses Donald Trump for president.
