It makes sense that Nazis and Southerners would be kindred spirits, and gather together in rallies like that in Charlottesville. Both groups suffered humiliating defeats by the United States’ military. Both groups are sorry losers.
Tearing down monuments of the Confederacy is actually a favor to the southerners, because those monuments are constant reminders their impoverished, uneducated, great-great grandfathers were duped by the wealthy slave owners to fight a brutal war where they had nothing to win, or lose.
Understanding this to be true, leaving Confederate monuments in place serves a greater purpose than tearing them down. Those monuments are testimonials to the stupidity of those who were killed, crippled, and disfigured fighting a war for the ungrateful southern fat cats of the era.
Because, had the Confederacy won, those impoverished, uneducated dimwits who managed to survive the war, would have gained nothing. Not even a tiny measure of gratitude from the wealthy slave owners they fought for and died to protect. Southerners must be reminded their pride is for the stupidity of their ancestors, nothing more.
The Nazis are no different, fools who fought and died for nothing, and now they want to try again. Like the Confederates, the Nazis’ idiocy is also indefensible.

Kind of like the Democrat Party that has lost 1,000 seat in the last eight years in addition to the Presidency, House of Representatives and the Senate.

Nazis have more in common with Sherman and Andrew Jackson than Southern Folks of today...
