Texas explained clearly

Why are Republicans dominating Democrats? Your site states that voters do not register in any party.

Your site you supplied says

Voters do not officially register with a political party.
Election Litigation
None currently underway.
Major Parties
Democratic, Republican
As documented, Republicans in Texas have already skewed representation radically in their favor. Democrats are currently under-represented in Texas.

The World Population Review analysis also drew on Texas' post-2020 redistricting, which FiveThirtyEight analysts have suggested may have represented "the worst gerrymander in the country," and gerrymandering in Pennsylvania, which "dilutes the interests of major urban areas [...] by dividing them among other districts.
Texas tends to be slightly republican based on voting results in recent elections. Compared to other nearby states, Texas has more democratic voters. Compared to the nation as a whole, Texas leans more republican.

Highly educated populations with bachelor’s degrees or higher tend to vote for more liberal candidates. In Texas, 31.74% of all adults have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher. Educated women are far less likely to vote for conservatives, and in Texas women make up 50.03% of the population.

Read my previous "Gerrymandering" comments from the past.
I have always said that Gerrymandering is wrong and should be outlawed.
Regardless of which corrupt party has done it.
Gerrymandering is WRONG.

Good to know. So, let's let Republicans catch up to Democrats to make it even Steven then we can stop the gerrymandering.

Sure.
End the madness.

But we all know that will NEVER happen.
Congress is too Corrupt.

Remind me again why Congress has Free Health Care for Life?
Remind me again why Congress can give themselves Raises?

Answer: Congress is too Corrupt.

Shit, I have to agree with you there.

Proportional representation should be the objective in each state.

Just because Republicans are over-represented in Ohio does not mean that Democrats should re-district to give them an advantage in another state - and vice versa.

Then let's make it all proportional. Democrat states certainly aren't proportional. They already have their states rigged and now they're griping because Texas wants to even the playing field.

If you are aware of "rigging" in any state, by Democrats or Republicans, those issues should be addressed in those states accordingly.

As documented, Democrats are already under-represented in Texas.

And Republicans are under-represented in California, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, and probably more blue states.

That means I'd have to take the time to separate them out from your liberal claptrap, which is the majority of your posts.
You 'think' I'm a liberal because I despise trump.
True, I can't stand the lying POS.
That doesn't make be a liberal.
I truly despise ALL politicians.

Congress Members are corrupt.
ALL of them.

The media has been kowtowing to Texas Republicans by failing to expose the extent to which the state has already been gerrymandered, resulting in an already disproportionate Repub representation.

Party Registration Statistics
  • Total Registered Voters: 17,323,617
  • Democrats: 8,054,976 (46.50%)
  • Republicans: 6,574,201 (37.95%)

Certainly not by voter registration.
Texas does not have voter registration by party.

You lean left. You can't deny that. While you might hate Trump and all of Congress, you agree with many lefty policies.

So, if you believe those states are rigging districting, do you think the solution is for other states to rig districting, as well?

I would much rather that voters be proportionally represented in each state.

As noted, Texas is already rigged to deprive Democrats of proportional representation, and this thread is about Texas.

p.s.Out of curiosity, how would you redraw district lines in Massachusetts? Republicans are so evenly distributed around the state that drawing a Republican congressional district is impossible.

Should be an even playing field. Democrats are always about doing things and then complaining when Republicans do the very same things. So, yes, since democrats have gerrymandered the system, Republicans should be allowed to even it up. Then we can stop gerrymandering once everything has become even.
