Tariff ruling.

As stated before, the tariff cost being passed on by the company IS THEIR CHOICE. That is NOT THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER PAYING THE TARIFF. Most companies eat the tariff costs to avoid raising prices. Or they can choose to buy American and not pay ANY TARIFFS. How 'bout dem apples?
False!

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and President Donald Trump’s top adviser on matters related to the coronavirus, said in a January interview that the virus was “not a major threat” to the U.S.

“Bottom line. We don’t have to worry about this one, right?” Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly asked Fauci on January 21.

“Obviously, you need to take it seriously, and do the kinds of things that the CDC and the Department of Homeland Security are doing, ” Fauci responded. “But, this not a major threat for the people of the United States, and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.”

CDC Director Robert Redfield told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade late last month that he agreed with Fauci’s assessment at the time, and said that nobody could have predicted the outbreak that would eventually occur in the U.S.

"you need to take it seriously"

Tariffs are a tax, paid by the American People.

Tariffs are paid by corporations. If those corporations CHOOSE to increase their prices, that's on them. During Biden many corporations increased their prices without tariffs, so what was that? What kind of tax was that? A Biden tax?

Trump is claiming that he does not need to work with Congress on his tariff policy. That is at at odds with the opinion just issued by the Supreme Court. “The President asserts the extraordinary power to unilaterally impose tariffs of unlimited amount, duration, and scope. In light of the breadth, history, and constitutional context of that asserted authority, he must identify clear congressional authorization to exercise it,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote.
Well he has the power to do other things, and you loons are forcing him to do it. Maybe he will just start bombing countries. Like Obama did, hope you're happy.

And so far 90% of the tariffs have been passed on to consumers

I don’t oppose tariffs, I just know trump is doing it all wrong and he got you rubes into accepting higher taxes.

I pay my share and don’t constantly ***** about taxes, whereas you rubes have done a 180 since it involves trump

How sheepish are you?
Prices are going down dumbass.

So, Clinton and Obama played by those rules. Of course they had no politically derived impedance like Trump has had.
I think Clinton had a little politically derived impedance. Does the name Ken Starr ring a bell?

As for Obama, he tried to give 4.5 million illegals legal status. The SCOTUS thankfully impeded that.

The Supreme Court did not ban tariffs.
The Supreme Court said when you set tariffs, do it as the Constitution dictates. The congress has the power of the purse. If not, it is illegal. This restores seperation of power as set down by our founding fathers.

It is no different than immigrants. The US has not said no immigrants. It said immigrants must come in legally. The rules of our conststution must be followed. No illegal immigrants.

If it is good for immigrants, it is good for Donald Trump. DO IT BY THE RULES of our government.
The president has other powers to set tariffs without the congress

How about this apple: when US consumers buy a tariffed product, the price for that item was higher than it was before the tariff was applied. How do you not understand that the whole point behind doing higher tariffs was to try to balance the cost of the same domestic product and a cheaper imported product? You paid $10 for something and now it's $15 because Trump put a tariff on the imported stuff. What happens in reality is that the importing company paid the $5 tariff when it comes ashore and ultimately the US consumer pays that extra $5. And who gets that $5? The importing company pays that $5 to the federal gov't. So, in fact when the US consumers pays that $5 extra for the product they are indirectly paying that $5 to the gov't and that is why a tariff is actually nothing more than a tax under another name.

And zero prison time or sentencing for either trumped up offense.

Why is that?

Could it be that both are totally bogus and they knew they'd be overturn upon appeal?

If you were truly interested in facts and truth, you'd read up on what the Judge actually said about prison time.

And "sentencing?" Look up the term in how it is applied in a legal sense.

Oh wait!

AI Bots show you to be the fool of usmb:

Sentencing is the formal, post-conviction process where a judge imposes penalties—such as incarceration, probation, or fines—on a defendant found guilty, aimed at punishment, rehabilitation, deterrence, and incapacitation. It involves evaluating mitigating and aggravating factors, often guided by statutory, determinate, or indeterminate, or federal sentencing guidelines

Donald Trump was given an "unconditional discharge" {LOOK IT UP} (no prison time, fines, or probation) in his New York hush-money case because Judge Juan Merchan determined it was the only legal sentence that did not unconstitutionally interfere with his duties as President-elect. The ruling respected the office of the presidency, even though the court affirmed that the 34 felony convictions still stand

IT'S CALLED A TECHNICALITY

What changes everything is the simple fact that we don't have to buy anything from overseas.
Could that possibly be why every US trading partner imposes tariffs on American made products?
To freeze them out of their markets.

They called Trump xenophobic for stopping travel from China

It was predicted as possible which is why funding had been shut down in 2014.
