The Supreme Court said when you set tariffs, do it as the Constitution dictates. The congress has the power of the purse. If not, it is illegal. This restores seperation of power as set down by our founding fathers.

It is no different than immigrants. The US has not said no immigrants. It said immigrants must come in legally. The rules of our conststution must be followed. No illegal immigrants.

If it is good for immigrants, it is good for Donald Trump. DO IT BY THE RULES of our government.

American tariffs are on FOREIGN GOODS coming into the country. The consumer doesn't pay that.

A tariff is a specific type of expense imposed on imported or exported goods, primarily designed to protect domestic industries from foreign competition and regulate trade, whereas a tax is a broad, mandatory fee on individuals or businesses for government revenue. Tariffs are paid at the border, while taxes are paid on domestic goods, income, or services.

Tariffs are not for gov't revenue. Just because its an expense on a product does not make it a tax.
