He can stop the 10% tariff one day before the 150 days expires and then a day or two later re-apply it for another 150 days. You may be too emotionally invested to understand how this can transpire. I have heard from informative sources. Furthermore, and more importantly from our standpoint; USMCA is to be negotiated in June and the U.S will negotiate two separate deals to maximize leverage.

Hilarious. No he cannot. Under the statute, once the 150-day period ends, the tariff authority under Section 122 expires. The president can’t simply start a fresh 150-day period on his own without congressional action to extend or authorize it.

He will be in court for this tariff as well. There is no balance of payment issue driving the authority for Trump to tariff. Even for 150 days.
