Even if it is true that the countries with universal healthcare have worse cancer outcomes, which is refuted by the World Health Organization..

If the USA is in fact more of a survivor country regarding cancers..

The behavior of individuals is the most responsible for the outcome difference.
Universal Healthcare is not forced healthcare.

And Canada is still by far better than Europe, even by the standards of the refuted study that I was shown on this website.

Europe simply has problem after problem after problem with their ability to think and function in the modern world.

And I would also argue that even if it is true that Americans tend to have more individual survival skills than most foreigners..
Needing them leads to fear and violent crime because it helps create the wild west.



Not to mention that getting a bill for surviving, is insulting, it is in and of itself rude behavior.

Universal Healthcare is rationed Healthcare. That's the real problem.

Your insurance company is rationing the Healthcare you receive now. Likely you won't realize it until you get cancer. There are a myriad of ways to treat various cancers. But studies have been performed to demonstrate which treatments are the most effective. However, usually the most effective are likely the most expensive as well...which your insurance provider probably won't approve. So you get "discount" cancer treatment with a lower survival rate.

Now with Universal Healthcare you get the worst government employees rationing you to the cheapest treatments possible. To the point that it's almost inhumane.

Because now instead of people getting wealthy by positive reputations you get educated people who are limited by their pay grade into not caring about their reputations...because it doesn't matter anymore. So your survival is not relevant. Your quality of life is now subject to regulations preordained by a regulatory agency. Which means that when they legalize assisted suicide your next trip to the doctor can kill you just as easily cure you.

All depending on the mood of the staff that day...

Now with Capitalist medicine you get the worst insurance adjusters rationing you to the cheapest treatments possible. To the point that it's almost inhumane.

Now that's not what I said.

And I'm not saying that the capitalist system is without flaws.

For example:
They have discovered that with a $20 test and $20 worth of drugs they can prevent 70% of all colon cancers. However treatments for colon cancers run into the tens of thousands of dollars. And 10% profit on $40 is nothing compared to 10% profit on $50,000 dollars. So the research is stopped and you will be allowed to get cancer....
And everyone claims "we didn't know".

There's the downside to a capitalist system.

Oh yeah...that's another issue. Yes, medical science can cure you...but you won't be able to afford living afterwards and any savings will be taken by them as well...so you won't have any money to leave to your kids.

It must be hell in Europe!!!
We had family friends from BC staying with us in Houston so the Husband could get cancer treatment from the best cancer center in the world MD Anderson. He pulled through.
My cousins long time boyfriend who still lives in BC just died a month ago due to lack of treatment.
All socialised medicine sucks ass. That cousin I just mentioned was a nurse and her mother my Aunt was an emergency room nurse.
They both will tell you Canada medicine sucks ass.
Well the Aunt cant tell you that anymore since she died because of piss poor medical in Canada.
