These are a list of reasons for Europe's inabilities to think and function in the modern world.
#1. A much smaller proportion of Europeans are wealthy compared to Americans.
#2. A much higher proportion of Europe's population is elderly, born and raised over 65 years ago.
#3. Europe is simply used to dictatorship in one form or another, whether traditional like a Monarchy or a more unusual upstart like the nazis.
The eastern half of Europe also lived under soviet communism as recently as the young adulthood of Generation X.
#4. Europe's glory days when they ran the world was a different time with absolutely no resemblance to today.
That era of European power is much more recent than you might think and also ended much longer ago than you can really appreciate and was a much shorter timespan than you think it was.
#5. Europe is a very defeated society.
The fall of Nazi Germany and the atomic bombs on Japan and the defeat of the Soviet economy and technology were a total game changer.
It marked the stark, complete and total bitter end of European society as a global power, and they not only know it, the fact is, they feel it.
What began with the Bible, Wooden sailing ships and cannons, muskets, bayonets and swords and axes, ended with the atom bomb.
#6.Europe isn't used to free trade, they are used to kleptocracy from the outside world in an imperial system, a system that they nolonger have the power to uphold.
