Socialism always fails

That is your personal definition of socialism, not mine.

Your definition is a common description, but it is actually a frequent misconception. Socialists define socialism as the social or collective ownership of the means of production, rather than total control by the government. [1, 2, 3]
Understanding the distinctions reveals more about how the system operates:
  • Worker and Public Ownership: Instead of corporate executives or private owners holding power, socialists advocate for assets, industries, and resources to be owned or managed by the workers, communities, or the public.
  • Democratic vs. Authoritarian Management: In theory, socialism emphasizes democratic management of the economy by the people themselves rather than top-down control by a central government apparatus.
  • Economic Systems: Total government control of economic activity is technically known as a command economy. This model has been historically associated with certain states (like the former Soviet Union), but it represents a specific, centralized subset of socialism rather than the definition of the concept as a whole.
  • Social Democracy: Many modern socialist movements—such as the models used in Nordic countries—do not seek to eliminate private enterprise entirely. Instead, they focus on using government policies to heavily regulate the market and provide robust public services like healthcare, education, and pensions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

Workers own nothing the state controls everything supposedly in their name but thats the big lie of socialism

Only in capitalism do people control the market by choosing to buy or not buy a product. This ofrces business to please them. In socialism the state is in control there is no competition so if you dont like it screw you.

Socialism has faled 100% of the time leading to poverty and oppression and two class socity the rulers and the oppressed.

The other big lie is when a person gets rich it makes another poor. This is called a zero sum model. The fact is when a person gets rich we all have more opportunity. When the government gets rich as in socialism we all get poor because they takes our money.

Socialism specifically refers to collective or state ownership of the "means of production" (e.g., factories, farms, and businesses) rather than just the shared pathways used to transport goods to market. Because public roads predate modern socialism and are heavily used to drive capitalist commerce, they are fundamentally state-provided services rather than socialist systems.
A rose by any other name...

Socialism ap[peals to those who cant succeed in life. Failures. Capitalism forces them in their earned place in society. If you work at Starbucks thats because thats what your worth. If your business failed its because it didnt give people what they wanted. If your lazy and unmotivated you get what you deserve. These are the people who want socialism. They watch while others do all the work then demand a part of the wealth. F them

You're FOS, as usual.

So, what country that has socialized healthcare, is waiting in line to adopt our healthcare system?

Germany introduced it, for their citizens in 1883.

Capitalism also always fails, but only for the bottom 90%. The top 10% do extraordinarily well, which allows them to control the media, government, and educational system to push propaganda on the 90%. Thus convincing them what their eyes tell them is a lie.

We see evidence of the effectiveness of this propaganda effort everyday on this forum. You are just one perfect example among many.

Lol. You aren’t American. You live in Haifa and are paid by Israel to post here. Stop lying.

And besides, the capitalism you speak left Americans long ago. China is a better example of how capitalism can work, but only when the capitalists aren’t allowed to control the government.

China is in decline like all communist economies eventually end up crashing. So I take it your understanding of economics is so poor you haven amounted to much.
