If the parents allow it, i guess its ok.. depends on the kid and tattoo.. face, hand, and neck tattoos should be banned for everyone.. 🤠

Hilarious

how do you know the parents paid for it.
Because the story says the parents brought the girl in themselves for her to get the tattoo

No, I am entitled to stop the law being broke. Try to tattoo a 10 year old in front of me. I will stop that crime

In Arizona it’s legal to tattoo a minor with parental consent. Guess where this story takes place... that's right, Arizona. No crime to stop.

On the plus side, the tattoo the kid got was not the portrait of Trump on her neck, which was the original ask...

A tattoo parlor in Arizona is at the center of a viral controversy after an artist shared a video of himself tattooing an American flag on a 9-year-old girl. According to the artist, the flag wasn’t the original design her family requested.

The girl’s parents initially wanted a portrait of President-elect Donald Trump tattooed on her neck, according to Sosa, co-owner of Black Onyx Empire Tattoo in Yuma.

The video, posted by Sosa in May, shows him tattooing the flag on the girl’s arm — a design he suggested instead of the Trump portrait. Sosa told NewsNation he tried to deter the family by quoting a price more than $400 higher than usual. However, he said the family, who is from Turkey, expressed gratitude for living in the U.S. and view Trump as a hero.

Looks like we need the federal government to protect our children from their parents

California law is 18

More children are abused by their parents than anyone else. And there's not much that can be done about it.

For me the answer is an obvious NO. Until a child becomes eighteen they shouldn't be in charge of what they do to their own bodies. Whether it be puberty blockers or tattoos.
Depends onto the design and the artistic quality :smoke:

Wow.. so the parlour did the right thing.. it still is way too young for a tattoo..

"My tattoos make me unique." couldn't be farther from the truth.
I was a seasonal employee at a zoo for 15+ years and took notice that one can`t see the artwork (most of which is very good) or read the tattoos unless the visitor stood right in front of me and the scantily clad obese heavily tattooed women were disgusting to look at. I told my boss that I wanted to work at admissions and refuse entry to guys with man buns. I hadn`t thought about the obese tattooed freaks. Perhaps the fat women thought that nobody would notice that they`re 80 lbs. overweight if they had enough tattoos?

I nearly vomit if I see a man bun. Wtf.

I wouldn't say they did the right thing, but the fella who did the ink did try to dissuade them the best he could, jacking up the price of an $80.00 tattoo to $500.00 and then changing their minds about the design. My guess is, had he refused to do it at all the parents would have found someone who would and there would be a ten year old little girl walking around with a portrait of Donald Trump on her neck. Instead, she has an American flag on her upper arm... and a year later she had changed her mind about the Trump tat (it seems the guy convinced to get the flag and to come back in a year if she still wanted the Trump, she came back to get the red stripes touched up, didn't want the Trump).

To his credit, his cut off is usually 15 years old with parental consent... for whatever that's worth.
