Yeah, for a Bullpup shotgun, it would make no sense to switch to a longer BBL.

I was asking about a BullPup rifle, though. Full length bbl with reduced overall length.

Same here and it was a pre-ban. Awkward as hell till it was shouldered.

It was funny though, when I got it (lightly used) came with 16 mags and the carriers. When I sold it I let four mags go with it and kept the rest and sort of forgot about them.

FF to the mag ban era and I "found" them again and sold them for as much as I bought the AUG for in the first place!

I don't hate it, but that pic makes me realize that that mag location could be an issue. Especially when shooting prone.

The English longbow was rated at 80-100# so you better bulk up.

While I truly love the look and the platform of the PTR91 myself, I think the AR10 is just the more practical choice due to aftermarket support. It's also the original AR platform. The AR platform was originally designed around the 7.62/.308 NATO round, not the little 5.56. If I was to buy an AR rifle at all today it would be an AR10 not an AR15. For CQB I would drop right down to 5.7x27 or .30 M1 Carbine territory, in a subgun/SBR type of format.

But....that's just me.

With that said, my only "modern" battle rifle is an AK47 I built myself, with a Swedish Mauser doing sniper duty on the side. And I ain't too worried about what I need to have next, if ya know what I mean.

Ditto on the AK. All one really needs is something that hits a man-sized target at 100 meters.

What model is the Pearson? I have a 40 pound pull BP Colt recurve. But every time I shoot it the damned arrow disappears off into the woods. Also a 45# Shakespeare Wonderbow that I'm waiting for the string to arrive in the mail.

Not a big fan of compound bows. You have to be a Stretch Armstrong to pull the string back on most of them.

What model is the Pearson? I have a 40 pound pull BP Colt recurve. But every time I shoot it the damned arrow disappears off into the woods. Also a 45# Shakespeare Wonderbow that I'm waiting for the string to arrive in the mail.

Not a big fan of compound bows. You have to be a Stretch Armstrong to pull the string back on most of them.

The only bows I have are a couple of old 45# Bear Fox fiberglass bows to bowfish with. One of them I bought when I was 13 or so. They serve just fine.

When it all goes down my dead ender weapon of choice ( out of everything in my collection to grab ) is my Chinese type 56 “ Spiker “ AK ( along with my level IV Body armor rig and 6 30 round Military Mags and two Hungarian 20 Round Tanker Mags and my Glock 17 with 6 Mags
