The government shutdown remains at a standstill, with the issue at the center being that Democrats demand that Republicans pass extensions for subsidies of the Affordable Care Act.

It makes no sense, I thought it was called the AFFORDABLE Care Act. If it is so affordable, why are subsidies needed?

President Trump found a way to pay our soldiers and other essential workers, while the Democrats had hoped to make them suffer.
