Yes they do. They arrest people in Western Europe for what they say. Laws like this are to stop people from saying anything. They intimidate people and get away with it, we do not need that here.

6 asians were ,urdered by a white man in one day. There a hundred plus threads by white racists about any crime done by blacks. All most of you do is look for crimes done by blacks so you can spew your racist bullshit.
One crime .... while there are literally hundreds of videos of blacks attacking members of the AAPI.

Your LIES fool no one.

It will be a win for all the black Americans who are attacking members of the AAIP community.
The 90something percent white Republican Party simply gets to KKKuntinue attacking our AAIP brothers and sisters w/the law. Business as usual for those deplorables.

Say hi to your governor, MarKKK!

Thanks for the list. Something is up with this vote. I looked at the representatives from North Carolina, five of them. Cawthorn has got to be happy about Marjorie Green, her antics have kept the spotlight off his dumb ass. Foxx has always been a Trump tool. But Rouzer and Bishop, they came out of the state senate, both crooked as the day is long, special interest influence, I mean they might as well have a "For Sale" sign posted at their door. And that is it, those no votes were bought, I just want to know who paid for them.

The bill “is not designed to do anything to prevent or punish actual crimes,” said Cruz. “It is instead a Democratic messaging vehicle designed to push the demonstrably false idea that it is somehow racist to acknowledge that Covid-19 originated in Wuhan, China and that the Chinese Communist Party actively lied and suppressed information about the outbreak, allowing it to become a global pandemic.”

He went on to call out Democrats for failing to question why the Biden Justice Department dropped a lawsuit, begun under the Trump administration, against Yale University alleging entrance requirements were discriminatory against Asian and white applicants through the imposition of quotas. The suit was withdrawn in February after Joe Biden was inaugurated.

“When Democrats decide to take hate and racism seriously that means they will address this and not ignore it because it doesn’t fit neatly into their messaging tactics,” Cruz said.

Why did Biden's DOJ drop the lawsuit against Yale.

Because the Racist Democrat Party doesn't give a rip about members of the AAIP.

They are only concerned with protecting their beloved Chinese Communist Party for releasing this bio-weapon on the world.

You leftists already understand that it is against the law to attack an Asian, right?

In fact, it is against the law to attack anyone, regardless of creed, ethnicity, religion, sex.

Fucking baffoons.

Nothing in this bill would have protected members of the AAPI.

It will only make free speech punishable.

The CNN hit piece does nothing to explain why the Republicans didn't want to vote for it. In other words, the narrative they're pushing is "Republican hate Asians." Anyone who isn't living under a rock knows that the majority of Asian hate is being perpetrated by black people.

Now as to why those Republicans voted against it...

From Ted Cruz:

"In a statement to The Texas Tribune, Cruz acknowledged that hate crimes and racist violence directed at anyone, including Asian Americans, “should be vigorously prosecuted.” But he lambasted the bill as nothing but a Democratic “messaging tactic.”

Cruz said the bill “is not designed to do anything to prevent or punish actual crimes. It is instead a Democratic messaging vehicle designed to push the demonstrably false idea that it is somehow racist to acknowledge that Covid-19 originated in Wuhan, China and that the Chinese Communist Party actively lied and suppressed information about the outbreak, allowing it to become a global pandemic.”

He also accused Democrats of not taking racism seriously because they didn’t call out the Justice Department for withdrawing an affirmative action lawsuit against Yale University that argued the school discriminated against Asian and white applicants through race-based admission quotas. The lawsuit was filed under former President Donald Trump and was withdrawn in February after President Joe Biden took office.

“When Democrats decide to take hate and racism seriously that means they will address this and not ignore it because it doesn’t fit neatly into their messaging tactics,” Cruz said."
